Will there be the same outrage for Presidrnt Buhari's comments as Donald Trumps?

So President Buhari responded to his wife's lack of support by saying "I don't know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen, and my living room"

What really annoys me about this comment is that forget that this man is president, or that he thinks it's acceptable to say it on the world stage, it's the fact he holds these views in the first instance.

Can we have the same outrage as we do for Donny T so that we can ensure that misogyny is not accepted anywhere...

I don't think you can expect the same outrage. Firstly, Buhari is not in the running to become president of the richest and most powerful country on Earth, and secondly, with Trump, it was not just one comment. He has a long history of such comments, which includes claims that he actually sexually assaulted women because he could.

Buhari should be reproached for what he said, but I don't think he is going to evoke the same level of outrage as Trump.

I have just looked this up and the story is far more interesting than a lazy comparison to Donald Trump. I don't think many first ladies anywhere have spoken out in the way Aischa Buhari has:
