They edited out most of what Stephanie said. Extraordinary bias. But I'm not surprised.

Just noticed "any" makes no sense in that sentence. Should read "very unquestioning and very uncritical"

There was a lot of the "well (s)he always played with girls'/boys' toys" cited as evidence.

There was no possibility of debate.

It featured the mother of a child who said several times her child would be dead if they had not transitioned. There's not much you can say in response to that which will not sound unsympathetic and theoretical.

Yes, Mariella wasn't asking Stephanie for her opinion, so she had to interrupt and pipe up - and lots of the stuff she said (eg, that we are sterilising children) was just edited out.

Profoundly dishonest BBC editorialising there.

I've stopped watching the BBC news now. The coverage is so biased it's shocking.
