Im waiting for the day this law is used against a woman.

Hypothetical situation. Woman lets workman into her flat who she has booked in to do some work but the woman has to go in to her workplace so leaves him to it but has webcams set up which catches him doing something he shouldnt.

If she then complained to the company he was from but got nowhere so then shared it online would she be prosecuted for revenge porn? There is footage of a KM workman online wanking in a couples living room which was posted a while before the laws came in so when these laws came in i did wonder what would happen to the couple if they posted it now.

Agree with PPs its appalling.

A woman has been prosecuted already for revenge porn against a man (other cases have been against other women).

Totally agree that the particular case in the op is appalling.

A Caution!

1 woman, once, perhaps I can understand the logic behind a caution. 5 women - well, I don't think he's going to learn his lesson, he needs to be actually punished surely!

I don't understand how it's "revenge" in this case. It seems like abusive/ stalking behaviour.

But worse still, the girl is 15 - surely this kind of abusive of an under aged girl should be treated more seriously?

I really expected to get to the end of the article and see a quote from Sussex Police saying they were reviewing the decision and would ensure officers were better trained in future etc.

But nope. Sad They don't give a fuck.

Sussex police have a bit of a reputation when it comes to offences of a sexual nature.

It's not a good reputation either.

My thoughts exactly, Ham (on both counts).

There was a piece on this particular story on The Today programme this morning, but I don't seem to be able to find it.
