Thanks for posting this, I was ignorant of her life & achievements & I'm glad I'm no longer unaware. She sounded like an awesome woman & I loved her speech when she announced her candidacy for president. Listening to her interview with the BBC, it struck me how very different politicians are now when being asked questions. She was very straight talking & articulate. The complete opposite of today's politicians.

This is an absolute shame on me because I have always thought that dr. Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement paved the way for Jessie Jackson to stand for presidency. He is the only name ever mentioned pre Barack Obama. The only person interviewed as a protégé of King when Barack got elected president. The only face that was used to show what change looks like from then and now.
