Started tonight - diary of a woman who was at Greenham Common.

I wasn't aware at the time that it was even a Thing - I was a child and living outside the UK. But I loved tonight's programme - I was actually moved to tears.

I'd love to hear others' thoughts on it.

Was in the car but had to stop before the end very annoyingly! Will look it up and listen to the end. I was a young teenager and remember it from the news, it was one of the early influences that switched me on to left wing politics. I always thought the sort of women who did it were probably "better" than people in my family - that is they were probably better educated/ more politically aware/ cleverer/ more artistic, that sort of thing. But listening tonight, it was very moving how ordinary they were. The bit with the bolt-cutters was so down-to-earth. I really enjoyed it.
