Women Security in India by women themselves

I want to share a thought with you people, and it is not merely a thought. The women security is one of the biggest issues to be dealt by us in India.
We need to understand that why we have to be so much concerned about women security. Most of all, opposite sex attraction is the rule of nature, you can not ignore or repress it. The root cause of rapes and women molestation is needed to be thoroughly understood by us. It is essentially the lack of exposure to opposite sex people and broadening of mental capability. The people with low moral capability and values tends to involve in such kind of immoral acts.
Now, here anybody can say that if your moral is down, then you need to grow mentally. This mental growth directly and certainly depends upon the society we live in. And women are supposed to run our society in Indian culture. So, women should grow and make the other parts of society (i.e. their husbands/boyfriends, children, elders) grow mentally and morally.
But nowadays, this doesn't seem real, because women are not realizing that they are being disrespected in many ways. They can't even think and realize that you are representing yourself as an commodity. The television, commercial Indian movies currently being produced, and our media(on both internet and newspaper) presents the woman as an commodity, you can see any kind of advertisement, a movie trailer, any kind of TV commercial, homepage of any Hindi newspaper website & ads on it. You can always find a woman in modern clothes (or my kind of typical idealist Indian may say less clothes) trying to ignite that greed and monster of lust inside us.
I shouldn't say this, but a woman always try to become an eye-candy for people. But still, modernists and modern feminists may say that a woman can walk down the street without clothes, and it is only your fault see her lustfully. This can never be justified because lust is always present there in a healthy man, you can not avoid the act of nature.
So I want to request those modernists and feminists that they should not encourage women for being a commodity to men. Women is and will always be the better half of a human life. The women should educate themselves morally & ethically. And then educate their counterparts(Children,Husbands,Boyfriends, Brothers, Elders) the same, so that they will respect them.
Any woman should never let a man to disrespect her, but this can only be done if a woman had already educated that man ethically and morally.
In India, it is believed that woman is the living form of Devi(Goddess), so Indian women should realize the fact that they are Devi and they should act as Devi rather than being disrespected like a mere commodity having a certain price.
Moreover I want to appeal the women of this world that you have the power to make and destroy your own society, you can choose yourself.

All those words to repeat the old old story that everything is the fault of women. Grow up.

Why should I wish to have thoughts shared with me when they turn out to be a disturbing insight into the misogynist (and for that matter man-hating) cess-pit that is the inside of your mind?

Men are humans. They should work on improving themselves on their own not because their wife tells them to do it.

Um. Actually lost for words about that. It is rare for such utter utter crap to be written in one place, usually people spread their misogyny and mistaken beliefs about men just not being able to help themselves when there is a pretty girl about over a few posts.

You are a victim blaming, man and woman hating prodigy.

Have you thought about a career in the British Judiciary?

Women must..
Women should...
Women need to...

Yup, it's all on us to prevent the abuse and sexual violence men commit.

What is wrong with the men learning to respect women all by their little selves?

Start with not making it all the women's responsibility.

Lust is fine, sex is fine.

Rape, violence and murder are not the same as lust and sex. Not even the same ballpark.

Television, internet, movies and newspapers all run by women in India, are they? News to me.

So is India different from the west in that all your advertising agencies and media people and politicians are mostly actually women? Are women the ones presenting other females as commodities in society, or is it men?

What? Women have fuck all power in India like in the rest of the world? So despite having no power you would also like them to make all the men (who do have power) stop being bastards?

That is an epic plan. That'll work.

When I clicked on this thread, I expected it to be about women banding together to physically protect themselves. Like vigilantes, almost.

How about that, OP? Instead of regarding men as creatures ruled by instinct who aren't responsible for their behaviour, women could take charge.

Thinking about those poor teenagers who were raped and killed when going into a field to relieve themselves - how about walking buses, with say ten women from the village all going together? Carrying big sticks.

Free self-defense classes: women teaching other women who then pass it on to a new group.

And so on, only I don't know India well enough to suggest other examples.

It doesn't address the real problem, of course, but I think it might be more efficient than your initial proposal.

Gosh Buffy. What a revolutionary thought! Don't you know the poor dears can't help themselves.? It's us wimmin what is to blame - always, every time, whatever the problem, wherever it is in the world. Men are never ever responsible for violence against women, for rape…...

I opened the thread and began reading, all hopeful, because yes indeed the problem faced by women in India/Pakistan is such a serious issue that needs approaching in a delicate and sensitive way. I was wondering what might be suggested.
Instead, left despairing at the OP...
