here

I suppose I shouldn't be shocked at this misogyny but I am. Hope he loses his job over it too.

Nothing shocks me. Some men are simply stuck on the bottom rung of the evolutionary ladder.

Partly I'm shocked because he must be completely thick to tweet something like that. Did he think no one would notice? Did he not think he was reinforcing the criticism his party is getting about attitudes to women??

The short article in the Journal missed his question mark. Just saying.

I don't think the question mark makes it any less offensive but I would genuinely like to know why you think it does? I did try to post the original tweet here but by the time I worked out how to do it it had mysteriously disappeared...

And these are the men who run the country...? Not only stupid and ignorant, but just plain disgusting.

I only glanced at the article and got it into my head that that the photograph was of another 'event' that had also taken place at the venue on the same day - and he was 'jokingly' mixing the two up for 'comedic' effect. But when I re-read it, it seems not, he'd simply got the picture from somewhere else.

Local councillors don't run the country. Most have very limited say even in their local area, but feel awfully important.

But yes, what a wanker.

Why does the headline have the word 'sexist' in quotation marks? It suggests that what the article means is 'supposedly sexist.' How can there be any doubt that this is sexist?

I noticed that as well Rosabud

He's a prat with no common sense.

Just what one needs in a local leader Hmm

Richard Davies is clearly a knobber of the highest order.

He shouldn't be allowed out in public without a handler, never mind be given a say in local budgets etc.

Ugh.

It really bothers me that sexist is in quotation marks. Suggests it's a matter of opinion, and the journalist/paper doesn't share that opinion.

Raises once more the question of why do we even have MP's they are all entirely unrepresentative of normal, they are self-satisfied entitled, corrupt, in-it-for-themselves morons. Why do they exist?

Another moronic tweet made by yet another moronic MP.

As one of the comments in the letters collumn says,
If this was a UKIP councillor it would be all over the national papers.
They are getting off ightly.
