Bidisha. I want to be like her when I grow up.

She is on Sunday Morning Live right now.

She is calm, articulate, engaging and so very clever.

Maybe one day Smile

You are like her AF, just in writing rather than face to face perhaps?!

Gawd no, SP. I would like to be, though.

Didn't see her today but she's great in print. She wrote a scathing article about marriage in the Guardian a few years ago which I enjoyed very much Smile

She is this tiny little lady, with a soft voice and a soft kind face, but she packs a powerful verbal punch Smile

If I recall correctly, they have some right tossers like Nick Ferrari on that Sunday Morning program - who was Bidisha up against this morning?

She was debating racially offensive language with Abhijit Pandya. I thought he was far more interesting, given that he was an Asian Englishman arguing against bringing the likes of the Ferdinand/Terry case to the law courts. I always find people with stances like his far more interesting than those who are more predictable, even if I disagree with them.

He had a point though in so much as the legal system wouldn't cope. He is a bit hard core though in terms of "just get on with it". I think he assumes everyone is or should be like him.
