Loads of articles about the way members of the ultra-orthodox Jewish minority in Israel are trying to turn the clock back, breaking the law in this democratic secular state by demanding female segregation even in buses, harassing and attacking a child for being "immodest" etc.

There are rallies going on against them but as they are breaking the law why don't the police just round them up, the courts try them and chuck them in jail..preferably losing the key at the same time.

And guess what, their numbers are growing because of their high birth rate.. women as incubators to swell their population.

Read something like this and it reminds me why I have been a feminist since I was in kindergarten.

Evil bastards.

I read things like this and I'm left completely con-fuddled. Xmas Confused Where the fuck do these extreme weirdos come from? How can they possibly think they're justified? I'm just.... there are no words.

Mysogyny just manifests itself differently in different cultures and societies. This kind of discrimination is just more visually obvious than the hidden sexism we have here.

Well it seems that the majority of Israelis are against them so hopefully they will be cracked down on now. Hopefully.
