The police officer was agreeing with the man, Trillian. It's an American thing, though,I think.

Very true, isn't it.

I know what it means, I was just being distracted from the very good analogy by the ridiculousness of an on-duty police officer saying "word".

It was good. Up to the last few lines, which were so cringe-worthy and oddly-placed that they made me forget that the beginning was good.

I think it's great! And am going to ignore the last two lines, which look as though they were stuck on by someone else.

That sounds like a good plan garlic

By the way, I have some of these and they are yummy.

That's hilarious, Trillian! I've just come back from the shops with a bag of garlic croutons Grin Crunchy and stinky: the only way to go!

I see what you mean about the last 2 lines, I still think it's a good analogy.

I'd seen this reblogged a week or so ago. Can't remember if I reblogged, but I loved the idea, last 2 lines aside.
