Apparently I'm not getting the point so would appreciate some advice.

Has anyone read or heard reports about this book?

The Centrefold Syndrome

I recommend Living Dolls (appreciate the irony of a book about the modern objectification of women, selling itself by objectifying women) Hmm

Oh and if you haven't looked at Object's Website I suggest that too.

hi msrisotto

I know some people in Object & I like the work they do

That's one reason I need to get my thoughts straightened out about all this. Smile

Object are brilliant IMO. What is wonky in your head then? I find it pretty hard not to be battered by everyday objectification.

Not being a woman, thats my problem Smile What I mean is, if you're not constantly subject to objectification yourself you can only ever have a partial understanding of it.

Anyway I appreciate your efforts to point me in the right direction

Yeah I know you're not a woman but my DP 'gets' it so it isn't a woman exclusive thing! Anyway, I hope the links and stuff are helpful.
