WOW. This book has been on my shelf for nearly a year. Finally thought I would give it a try. I have never read anything like this in my life. Cannot put it down. Such a crazy idea, so dark, so scary, so brilliant. Anyone else read this? Im pretty sure it goes "deeper" than I'm reading it. Whats it about really?

You really have to read this it was amazing. I'm not really a fan of fantasy and Im not even sure this book falls into that genre, but somebody read it so I can discuss it!!!

It deals with the idea of "changling faeries". In history, if a child was not "perfect", the parents said the child had been swapped by the changlings. That way they could give the child up without feeling guilty. The Stolen Child deals with the idea that these charnglings really do exist. Brilliant. I honestly wonder if these "children" really are living in the woods!
