Has anyone read The Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley?

I'm in desperate need of some spoilers!

I've just started the storm sister, but can't remember what happened with Maia - what was the thing she was running away from? And what was the thing with Zed Eszu?

Was it Zed that she fell in love with?

I feel like I need to re-read it before I read the storm sister, but really want to get on with this, so any spoilers would be much appreciated!
