It's a horror story, apparently. Can't wait!

It's been mentioned on Twitter, which is where I found out about it. It's grown from a short story he wrote, apparently. One of the characters has had his own Twitter account and has been tweeting bits of story. Intrigued, but I'm not sure about reading a horror story (easily scared :o)

I saw him at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago. He was in Scotland for the Edinburgh Book Festival , his slot sold out on day one of booking but he did an afternoon slot in Glasgow as well. He did a reading from the new book.

He's just lovely, funny, charming, polite and modest. I always buy his books in hardback - they have beautiful covers.

Gosh it wasn't a couple of weeks ago - mid August - time flies.

I love the fact he writes experimental, literary novels that actually have plots and are enjoyable to read.

I saw him do a reading from The Bone Clocks a few months ago - you're right, he is very modest. The other speakers (notably Esther Freud) were much more confident, whereas he was terribly unassuming. You'd never guess he was one of the most brilliant novelists of his generation.
