posted earlier but thread title was misleading. I was recommended a book by a stranger and have forgotten the title!! its basically about a lazy man. part of the story is about how he manages to lay in bed but make toast and jam from his position! anyone??

Is the sequel about a person who can't be bothered to google stuff so tries to get people on an internet forum to do it for them? Grin

Sorry, to try and be slightly helpful... do you mean like Oblomov? Or a contemporary novel?

I know your original post said man, but it's a long shot seeing as you couldn't remember the book title and perhaps it was a woman not a man? :)

I think it's ' the best a man can.get '

he's.married with young kids and manages to rent a room elsewhere to.work when realistically he could come.home

it's.by nick hornby and is a decent read
