Mallory towers and St Clare's. Nothing ever goes badly wrong! It feels like a very safe world.

I was first on the scene at a fatal car accident a few years ago. It upset me a lot more than I expected (HCP so used to death etc). I felt very delicate for a few weeks afterwards and didn't want to read anything too 'real'. Mallory Towers got me through it!

The Once and Future King by T.H.White. I love the first part where Merlin is tutoring Wart - there's a lot of wisdom in there.

To kill a mockingbird

I have a very old copy and it is looking very shabby. H suggested he got me a new copy but I said no... It is my book and I love it.

I am 3/4 of the way through an OU degree so I am reading a lot of study books, TKAM is my comfort blanket book. It clears my mind.

DD1 did the book for GCSE and she was a bit about my enthusiasm and ability to talk about the books themes and even quote it!

I remember loving Mallory towers when I was younger will have to see if I still have the books somewhere

Mine are wuthering heights, bonjour tristesse and jane eyre. Going to amazon to search out the ones I haven't heard of mentioned here.
