Nook October Sale

I've been perusing the Nook October Sale to find bargains to download to get me through the cold, dark autumn and winter evenings...

So far I have downloaded:
Until Thy Wrath be Past by Asa Larrson
The Tenderness of Wolves by Stef Penney
Titans of History by Simon Sebag Montefiore
Paris to the Moon by Adam Gopnik
Through the Children's Gate by Adam Gopnik
River of Shadows by Valerio Varesi
The Dark Valley by Valerio Varesi

Has anyone found any gems amongst the Nook sale offering? Or amongst the Kindle sale offering for that matter as I think a lot of the titles are the same and the same price. I will consider anything TBH, as with prices that low I am willing to take a gamble!

Have also added:
An Atlas of Impossible Longing by Anuradha Roy
The Promise of Rain by Donna Milner

but am still looking for recommendations.

I've been looking at the Sainsburys ebook bargains, which have been price-matched by Amazon.

I bought The Hours and The English Patient this week, both for 99p :)
