Mystery Triller kindle books recommendations please.

A friend had recommended stocking up on kindle books to help me survive endless waiting times during jury service.

I liked books such as dragon tattoo series, black is the color, tideline etc.... Read most Stephen Kings.

Spent ages browsing kindle books but don't seem to find anything. Maybe I'm just bring fussy.

Have you tried Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books? They are quite light mysteries but entertaining.

Or James Lee Burke? He's a bit more substantial.

John J Niven - Cold Hands was my favourite book of last year and Out by Natsuo Kirino.

They are both pretty dark but as your a King fan I'm sure you'll not boak at them.

Val McDermid - all excellent, either the stand alone thrillers or the Tony & Carol series.

Erin Kelly's books are all excellent mystery thrillers.
