This may be no use to anybody. I remember reading a book when I was younger but I can't remember the name of it. Here is what I remember :A boy He had a bike called Gulliver or Oliver (i think) He lived in a house (sorry!) He had chips one night for teaI know this is probably useless, I just thought I'd give it a go. I keep having a dream about this boy and his bike and it's starting to freak me out a bit. I remember reading it in my school library one day
Any other info? Was it a picture book?Or a novel? What year roughly etc?
It was a novel - possibly aimed at children. Early 1900s was the setting I'm sure. Sorry there's not much to go on
The Freedom Machine by Joan Lingard?
I googled A Bike Called Gulliver and that's what came back OP, so I'm not certain, but the cover seems like you might recognise it if you have a look on Amazon. There's no description that I can see though.
Thank you! Yes it was the freedom machine. I read this years ago when I was at school. I have no idea why I'm dreaming about it. Thanks for your help
Your first post had me in stitches, Bowlingforsoup
