Can you please let me know what's good about WW as every time I mention I'm thinking joining everyone says I should join Slimming World instead as it's so much better!!

I did SW and it didn't me much good as so many of the foods that I like are a sin/syn, dress it up anyway you like, it was still a negative to me.

WW it guilt free as anything eaten just gets pointed so you can combine what you want to make up your daily points with no negativity.

The other one for me was portion control, I have learnt over time to just eat far less. I use the WW cooking scales to weigh portions of pasta/rice and I have cut my portion size right down, I've have seen numbers on the scales that I never ever thought I would see again.

I prefer ww for pretty much the same reasons as life.

Sw seems to be more eating lots of things ( which got me over weight in the first place) whereas ww was making me think more about my choices.

I.e if I want wine on a Saturday night I need to eat much better during the day (veg soup/salad etc) to free up points.

If I was on slimming world and used my sins eating out on a sat lunchtime I'd feel i was depriving myself if I had to sins left for later which leads me to think "fuck it" binge and fall of the wagon.

Ww gives me more freedom to have off days.

I'm not a fan of slimming world. It exerts no portion control and I put on pounds rather than losing.
I found the weight watchers pro points to be the best system for me. New WW smart points is too similar to slimming world for my liking

I don't think Smartpoints is like Slimming World - it's only the "no count"/"filling and healthy" option that's like SW, and that existed before. If you do the points, it's as others have said, guilt free and you can have whatever you want as long as you point it.

I've done SW before and got to goal with it, but put it all back on afterwards. So far I'm liking WW and think there is more chance I will learn to stop bingeing.

I don't like sw as it's too obsessed with aspartame and sweetness and I hate them fake oil spray things just rubbish. I got headaches a lot ono sw. With ww I still have butter olive oil etc just smaller portions. If I want treats Saturday then I just have a small breakfast soup lunch and save my points or go for a run to earn them.
