So who else is back to the WW routine in January?
I lost weight slowly and steadily on the 'filling and healthy' ww plan last year. Lost 16lbs over 16 weeks and I am back within my gold buffer zone but not quite where I'd like to be yet. Have had a couple of weeks off over christmas but planning to weigh in on Monday at my meeting...which I expecte will be rammed!
I also need to increase the exercise as that waned a bit in December.

Hope to have some company on this board for the new year. What are your aims?

Hello, I will be WWing before long. I am back in the exercise swing and just need to get through the leftover Christmas food before going hard at it. I'm rationing the food though and trying to eat more mindfully. Were
Ideally I would like to lose 2.5st this year but my first goal is a stone by my birthday 4 April.

hevs10593 · 02/01/2015 16:30

I'm still following WW reached goal before Christmas and have managed to maintain over Christmas and enjoy it! I've joined the gym and I've taken up spinning (which I find hard) and body pump (which I love). Even tho I'm at goal I still need to tone up!

Miffytastic · 02/01/2015 22:29

Hello reallystuck and Hevs :) I think there is also galmptongirl and miniondave posting on another thread too

Well done for maintaining Hevs. I doubt I have stayed the same!

May I join you ladies? I have just returned to ww with about 2.5 stone to lose to get to goal. I am determined that 2015 will be the year I do this!

Sixgeese · 02/01/2015 23:53

May I join you too?, I was one of the Weightwatchers product testers so I have been on the plan since September and I would like to continue even though the product test finished just before Christmas.

During the 12 week test, I lost around 1 1/2 stone, and I have 1 stone 3 pounds to go to put me at the top of the normal BMI.

I have been on a diet for 2 1/2 years, having started at over 19 stone and being morbidly obese, I lost 6.5 stone in a year with SW, gained a stone in the following year while still going to SW and switching to WW has put me back on track and I am now 104 pounds down from my original weight. Hopefully 2015 will be the year when I finally get to a healthy weight.

Galmptongirl · 03/01/2015 07:50

Hi, yes am still thinking about starting !!! got as far as making 0pt soup but still not brave enough to step on the scales . Think today might be the day !

Griffomais · 03/01/2015 14:33

Hi ladies do you mind of I join you? I'm on day 2 of WW - my daughter is now 14 months and I still eat as if I'm pregnant Blush. Thing is I hardly put on any weight whilst pregnant and was quite pleased at how healthy I'd stayed - then bang baby comes out and I go crazy with eating rewarding myself each and every day for just getting through the day with a child. My husband works away for long periods of time and I guess I dealt with any stress by eating - not wise I know. Now I'm scared I can't get back to looking better and feeling better.

Galmptongirl · 03/01/2015 16:02

Eek! It was worse than I thought.have about stone and half to loose. I am definitely in and looking forward to the support. What is a typical day menu for anyone?

MercuryRising · 03/01/2015 19:05

Galmptongirl stay positive you are taking steps towards your goals. I also made 0 point soup today which was delicious Grin

Marmite27 · 03/01/2015 19:20

Hello! I did WWII to loose for my wedding this year. I got to goal a year before the wedding then maintained for a good while.

Then my (now) DH and mum panicked about my dress not fitting, and started shoving chips and cake at me! I had a break on our all inclusive honeymoon. I was still a size 10 when we got back, but I then got a promotion and moved to a new office which is no longer in walking distance.

My original goal weight was 9st 7lb, and I'm currently 10st 11lb (there has been lots of cake in the last 11 months!). Said to DH that was it, back to it from 2nd January.

I've planned all meals for this week, which I find helps me. I hope my stomach shrinks back soon Smile

Marmite27 · 03/01/2015 19:22

Not WWII - stupid auto correct WW!

Miffytastic · 03/01/2015 22:20

Ooh hello everyone :)
marmite I suppose we are rationing in a way ;)

Galmptongirl I've been doing filling and healthy so my typical day is:
Porridge made with water, 2tsps golden syrup (1pp)
Lunch - crumpets with poached eggs or peanut butter (2pp)
Tea - something like home made veggie chilli with brown rice or wholemeal pasta with veggie sauce or low fat pesto
Snacks - fruit, plain yogurt, Brazil nuts(2pp) or a mini bar of green & blacks chocolate (2pp)

I've eaten normally today -ie not WW and too much chocolate. Looking forward to getting back to 'ww normal' on Monday.... Or perhaps even tomorrow!

I'm in! Got about 10lb to lose - signed up yesterday. I've also started C25k.
I've done ww before and lost loads and maintained for ages. But I tried and failed last year - much harder now I have a toddler and underweight DP to cater for too!

ItsaTenfromDen · 04/01/2015 15:27

I started myself on the 1st Jan but will be joining up on Friday when the meetings restart after Christmas. Minimum I want need to lose is two and a half stone, three would be better:)

Tooheys5 · 04/01/2015 18:46

Can I join as well please? Lost half a stone on ww before Christmas but gained 3lbs back over Christmas. First day back tracking tomorrow and I would like to lose a stone. The mindless scoffing has to stop!Smile

pinkstinks · 04/01/2015 21:01

Hi id like to join! I've had a really bad Xmas.... And back on the wagon from tomorrow. Been to the market for veg and made soup!

I started WW last April and have lost 65.5lbs in total (at last weigh) and will have weigh in on thurs.

My leader had never given me a goal weight so I found te last month or so hard as my losses were smaller but hopig the new year and some chat will keep me inspired, and the insanity classes!!!

hevs10593 · 04/01/2015 21:13

Pinkstinks I can't believe you haven't discussed a goal!? What are you working towards? I Needed a goal to achieve and work towards!!

pinkstinks · 05/01/2015 00:04

Haha it's weird isn't it! My secret goal is to be in the magazine, well I had my 10% etc and that was good. I think it's because I started at quite a high weight so I had a long way to go IySWiM and it might have been daunting but definately going to talk about it, after Thursdays as gain!

pinkstinks · 05/01/2015 00:05

**Thursdays inevitable Xmas gain!

GertyD · 05/01/2015 07:31

Hello!
I am back on it. Last 3.5 stone in 2013, then slowly gained back 1.4 stone in 2014.
I would love to lose 3 stone 10lbs (to get to my ideal of 10 stone), but would be grateful to get to the top of my ideal weight, which is 10.7.
Anyway, I spent 2013 running and completed a half marathon, and that really helped, so have booked into the Liverpool half marathon in June. I fly to Crete 2 days later. Project bikini body is firmly under way Grin

GertyD · 05/01/2015 07:32

I am on a gluten free diet too, so any tips on this would be great!

Rainicorn · 05/01/2015 12:39

Starting this today. I have done WW on and off for years (yoyo dieting) and always lose 2 stone very easily but then I get complacent and get back into bad eating habits.

However, I need to lose as much weight as possible before the end of May as will be having a hysterectomy some point this year, May is when I get the go ahead (weight depending)

Looking to be low carbish as carbs are not my friends, they cling to my hips like needy children.

So yeah, thats me, hope you don't mind me joining in.

Back on ww as of today managed to loose 4 stone last year but over the christmas period I have gained a stone Shock
Need to loose 2 stone to get to goal. I follow the wendie plan on ww and find it works really well for me.

I don't go to class anymore just weigh in weekly at boots.

Rainicorn · 05/01/2015 13:01

What's the wendie plan?

spottymoo · 05/01/2015 21:34

www.wendie-plan.com it's just a calculator to distribute your weeklys so you have high and low days works you never drop lower than your normal allowance
