I've just rejoined after taking about a year off. I lost 3 stone last time and this time will lose the rest!

It does feel daunting at first but it really does become a part of your life relatively quickly. I know you want to go cold turkey but the best thing IMO about ww is that you don't have to give up everything so if you do have something you'd have prefered not to it's not the end of the world. As long as you stay within your points you will still lose weight.

I lost 2 1// lbs last week and in that time I had a friend around for dinner (including wine and pudding), went to nandos, had an ice cream when it was hot and had BBQ.

Good luck and make sure you track! Smile

Good luck Tealady and well done Whiter.
I love WW. I lost over 2 1/2 stone and have been a maintaining goldie for two and a half years but I went to meetings each week and still go now as it keeps me focused and on track and I enjoy the meeting, the leader is great fun and so are the other members. It changed my life. Yes definitely track.

Still another 2 1/2 stone to go. If you lose 2lbs a week you could lose 5 stone by the end of January! Just think I bet it took a lot longer than that to put on.

I've been doing it for 5 weeks and have lost 11.5lbs. I have another 12 to go. I think you need to track everything, stick to it, but incorporate things you like (so for me its the Count on Us Chocolate Mousse (2 points) or 125ml wine (3 points). Good luck!

I've done nearly a week and want to lose 5 stone... Reckon it's going to take a year... Blush I however have lost 3 pounds this week so am feeling relatively positive. DH is doing it as well which his great-so hopefully we will support each other-although annoyingly enough he's allowed more points than me!

Hello ! I have just started - about 2 weeksago. I lost 2.5 pounds the first week, then stopped tracking (headbang) and put 3.1 pounds back on.

I need to lose about 20 pounds. Hopefully by the beginning of August.... do you think it is doable?

Any tips? I have dumped the booze which I think will help, but last week I thought it gave me the right to go mad on chocolate and fries.

It's so hard I find I cannot have anything like that or I go too far with it. I am 2 weeks in and 4lb off so it's going in right direction. I am also doing 30day shred at same time so have lost inches more than weight. Try freezing a curly wurly. It takes you ages to eat and you actually enjoy it rather than stuffing it down without thinking about it which is what I used to do.

I've just started too after a year break. It's the only diet that works for me.

1.5 stones. I want to get back to my pre twin weight (my twins are 9 Wink). I've been to the gym twice this week already.

I can't find a local meeting that fits in with work so I'm doing it online.

Yeah I'm doing it online at the mo too. Just easier I never stay to class anyways. My dd is 6 months but my weight is from my stupidity after my ds was born 6 yrs ago comfort eating when dh returned to work. I feel I have a big mountain to climb of 5 but happy with 3-4 stone. So taking it at half a stone a time and not thinking about the rest.
