Off the wagon

So I did well with WW and got to goal 2 years ago, just after DH decided to swap his squash night to my WW night, so it's all his fault I've put most of the 20lb I lost back on hmm.

Anyway, my question is do I find a meeting with the same leader, or actively try a new one. I could make one with the old one because she does loads. I do like her, but wonder if a new face will shame me into the weight loss.

I have the esource and am still eating biscuits at work, I need the shame of someone else weighing me...

WWYD?

Anyone?

For me it doesnt matter who is weighing me ... its just that I know if I've been slack of fallen off the wagon!
Try whatever meeting works for you.
I've lost a stone over the last 2-3 months and have hit a bit of a wall...need a kick up the arse. Would like another stone to go, or at least half!
Good Luck! You did it before, you can do it again

I'm an online user, so I'm not sure about the leader thing - but tbh I'd just go to the most convenient for me I think. I have done the fat club thing, both with SW and WW, and I found most of them a waste of time. If it's just the weighing you want, does it really matter who actually does the weighing?

I don't own a set of scales, and the ones at my gym aren't accurate. There are 2 sets and they weigh about 3lbs different. Maybe I need to go to a friend and get her to weigh me in?!

I did find at meetings I got ideas and the little magazine was good.

Doesn't really matter which scales you use - as long as you use the same ones, so your relative weight gain/loss is the same IYSWIM
I've had a breather on my diet this year - have lost 17lbs but have another 17 to go but haven't lost anything for the last 6 weeks. I got back on the wagon today and went to the gym.
Give the biscuits to someone skinny tomorrow and get started.

The problem is they're always there and I work 3 days! When I was doing it before I just didn't touch them. But thanks for the kick!

The good thing about only weighing at the gym is I have to go. The electronic ones weigh heavier and are in kgs. It would save money sticking to esource. Maybe I'll start lurking on the big thread.

Well done on your weight loss so far Beamur, having a break is a good idea and now we have some warmer weather I find it easier to eat lighter foods and get out.

I have a dress I want to get into in 4 weeks, I think 7lb would do it so I have a good short term goal.

I just need to locate that wagon so I can clamber back on.

I think being weighed in by someone supporting your weight management is incredibly helpful - if it worked for you before then why not try a session that you can make it to?

There's one tomorrow night....would mean going straight from work but I am keen for my clothes to loosen off a bit.

I didn't go, but had such a busy day at work no time for biscuits grin

Good news about the biscuits - or lack of! I decided I could squeeze in a gym visit today and did, although I had to do the school run looking a bit hot and bothered grin

I've had 2 gym trips and a run so far this week. Contemplating going spinning this morning, but might just run some errands. Still not counting the points, although a friend who has whizz bang scales has offered to weigh me once a week.

I'm doing WW and find going to the meetings regularly really helps, though I've been on ww since Feb and have recently fallen off that dam wagon too. But, going to the meeting helps loads. They give me a bit of inspiration and motivation when I have lost and she talks me through when I've not done so well.

However, my second but is you must be motivated.its too easy to just have 1 biscuit or slice of cake or another glass of wine, and that's when (for me) the scales go in the opposite direction! You've done so well before, get back to those meetings to shift that first 7lbs and that might give you the motivation to stay!
Ps. I should get commission for this!!! wink
