4 days no chocolate

I'm sick of moaning about being too big. Last year I started running (not that I've lost any weight through it - maybe I need to up it to more than 3-5K) So I've decided to give up eating as much junk.

So far I've managed 4 days with no chocolate, crisps ir sweets - and its killing me!!!!

How long till I start losing weight?!

Have you thought about replacing these treats with low fat versions? It might make things a little easier on you! Give it a couple of weeks and am sure you will begin to lose weight. Good luck, have just started weightwatchers myself so have my fingers crossed for some positive loss this week!

I've just replaced the treats with fruit - not quite the same as a mars bar really!

I found WW to be pretty good, but I soon slipped back into my bad habits hence the weight gain.

I gave up sugar completely six weeks ago - I have lost 12lb so far. I am a binger so it is all or nothing with me. I lost four stone over eight months last time I did it, sadly I have put three stone back on through out of control binging and have now lost ALMOST a stone of that again! Stick with it - I find after four weeks the sugar cravings go completely and I don't even want sweet stuff.

Will have to try harder - went to a friends DS birthday party yesterday and the cakes were just tooooo tempting!

Then today had a lovely meal topped off wioth toasted marshmallows dipped in chocolate sauce!

Back to no chocs tomorrow as I did manager to lose 1Ib last week - must try harder!

Well done on your weight loss Rosa

Thanks Quint. I had a bit of a wobble yesterday - I have PMT and was desperate for chocolate, but managed to eat six squares and then stop and give the rest of the bar to the children, so not too much damage done hopefully! Two months to go until our summer holiday and I would like to be able to fit into my lovely size 12 clothes from two summers ago.
