I am thinking of buying a fitness DVD as money is tight and I cannot afford gym/classes etc, so wondered if anyone knows of a good one that is do-able at home

Any of the Davina ones (except the pregnancy one unless you're pregnant ). I think they're some of the very few DVDs that are mostly well explained, effective and show proper exercises with proper technique. Plus if you find her deeply irritating there's an option to turn the sound off once you get the hang of it!!

Am a personal trainer so you'd hope I'd know what to look for...

thanks hatcam, i have been looking on ebay and saw one of davina's DVDs, it was called 30 minutr workouts and thought I would have no excuse not to manage 3 minutes excercise a few times a week.

I did that one last night after putting the twins to bed and it is very good, especially the pump section. You will feel it in your legs for a couple days.

Its quite fast paced kick boxing style keep fit, but its pretty easy if you dont take it too seriously, and I can do it so it cant be too hard! I like it because its funny but I cant quite explain why, just the chap really, he is motivational It good fun.
