Why can i not shift my baby weight?

help please, im 5ft 9 and currently weigh 10 st 10. my baby is 8 weeks old and i put on 4 stone whilst i was pregnant (was 9 st to start).

all the weight i have lost went in the first 2 weeks and since then not a pound!!! ive lost a few inches but nothing else.

i wasnt being paticularly sensible to start with and didnt eat a lot, but as that wasnt working and gave me headaches ive been eating healthily for the past 4 weeks.
breakfast is fruit and fat free yogurt
lunch is prawns, avacardo and salad
tea is chicken or salmon with veg, i drink copius amounts of caffine free tea and coffee with sweetner in and have the odd bar of chocolate a week.

with my last two babies the weight dropped off fairly quickly afterwards and its never stood still for this long!im normally the sort of person that loses weight if i dont eat huge meals and a choccy bar a day . is it possible that pregnancy has totally changed my metabolism?

i dont really excercise, apart from walking to school and back twice a day (20 min round trip) and chasing round after 3 kids. i am planning on starting running though.
any advice on where im going wrong or what i can do to jump start my weight loss would be gratefuly recieved

I would say that at only 8weeks you are doing well, you have so much to do with 3 children including your new baby that stressing too much about your weight is hard for you, be kind to yourself as it willc ome off naturally especially if you are having the idet you are.
A few suggestions though if they can help

Why not try porridge in the morning with soya milk, dairy can cling to some people.

I would eat more fruit during the day to kick start your metabilsim

remember you only gave birth 8 weeks ago

No superwaif myself I have a BMI putting me at almost obese but I have lost a few stone and have found making sure I get loads of fluid makes a real difference. Something I'm not that great at with two kids running around. Whats your water intake like?
