I have been drinking loads of lager and eating too much crap

I need to get back into being sensible

I follow the SW plan normally, but I have completely lost it since I went on holiday in Se[ptember, and subsequently have put on a stone since then

I do have quite a lot to lose, so who would like to either jpoin me, or kick me up my not inconsiderable backside?????

I was at 11st 4lb at the end of October, and last time I weighed myself (Sunday) I was 11st 10lb I have probably put on at least a couple of pounds since then too.

I want to lose at least a stone, and also tone up my big, flabby c-section belly as well! Not much then

OH, have lost it completely in December, having lost 2 stone since September doing SW, I have reverted to type and ate and drank far too much...

Roll on 1st Jan!

I'm happy to get a good kicking - getting married in May so have the thought of pictures / video's etc to spur me on.
Did SW after I had DD but thinking about WW... any thoughts?
PS Need to shift a couple of stone ideally

Yes, I'll definitely join you. I could do with a good kicking too

I'm thinking about buying an exercise DVD tomorrow - I don't have the cash or time to go to the gym and this seems like the next best option. I have an exercise bike which I have been using on and off so I will try and use it more frequently. Also need to aim for 50 sit-ups per day.

I'm still a stone and a half lighter than I was this time last year so I'm using that thought to keep me going

I've got a horrible belly thing that "falls over" my c-section scar - anyone recommend any exercises that could get rid of it?

Report
bandgeek · 26/12/2007 19:31

Mine's the same! I don't know if anything will ever get rid of it tbh, it's all lose skin and wrinkly looking. Absolutely hideous!

Oh my belly looks like a bowl of lumpy porridge (2 CSs - one a dire emergency, there weren't neat)

I will always have overhang, buit I am aiming to reduce it vastly

So, shall we use this thread to support one another/kick each other up the jacksie?

I definitely need the support. Also have no motivation (doesn't help when I am sitting here munching chocs and guzzling wine

I am starting tomorrow. Will weigh myself in the morning

Have 2 dress sizes to lose - determined to get back to being size 12. I currently drink a bottle of wine a day, I know that has to go, but I cant bear the thought of not drinking, so thats my biggest challenge. Also DH is dangerously overweight, and I need to support him, and DS1 must sort out his fitness and stamina, so he can get back to sport after a recent injury.

So the plan is; running with DS1 - sensible eating - not drinking every day. Would love some support.

I'll join you! I've brought some new trousers - size 16's and I am well and truly wedged into them. I've put on weight since DD was born I think (and DP gently tries to tell me). Unfortunately we have a house full of crap food and a turkey and ham pie to eat, so I probably will start in the new year. I think I will go down the route of measuring myself rather than weighing (I can't bear to get on the scales...).

That means we cabn't eat cake when we get together floss

Oh well, we can dream about it instead

Yep, need to lose a stone here. Have been living on wine, chocolate and roast dinners for a week. I'm doing the obvious, though, and waiting until Jan 1st to start the healthier lifestyle. Got to finish that bottle of bubbly in the fridge and get through a cupboard full of Quality Street first!

I weighed myself and I'm 11st 11. I can feel my belly wobble when I walk!

I've had a bowl of cereal for my breakfast and a glass of water (am trying to break my diet coke habit as well ) The thought of chocolate now is starting to make me feel sick - I think I have definitely overindulged!

Have managed not to have a glass of wine tonight for the first time in ages - I'm going to do it this time.

Can I join in? Have about four stone to lose.

I've just managed one year without gaining anything overall, which is something of an achievement for me. But I'm just hovering under 15 stone which is a barrier I DO NOT want to cross. Also have a very large mum, aunt and MIL whose examples I do not want to follow.

Did quite well yesterday, until about 9pm when I had a large Baileys chased down by two bit of Christmas cake. Hints for avoiding the evening crash-and-burn appreciated.

Bahhhh

I really should. My belt notch is getting tight for the first time (barring pregnancy) in about 5 years, and that's on TOP of the 4 or 5 stone I could already stand to lose. It's all on the tum too, very unhealthy. Didn't bother me too much while my weight was stable but my God, it can't go up any more.

So how are we going to do it? I am thinking of buying a dance work out video - if nothing else, it should be very amusing to watch as I flail wildly around my toy stuffed living room.

I suppose i should knock the butter and ff milk on the head too - I KNOW this has been the major contributor to the weight gain because usually I drink skimmed.

I ended up eating a whole (large size) bag of Walkers sensations yesterday, plus half a box of Milk Tray. Oops. At least when I've eaten them all that will be it

I bought the Stricly Come Dancing exercise DVD and I attempted to do some of it earlier on. I have found out I am an even worse dancer than Kate Garraway Still, if it works......
