Hi guys, I have been using various products from Juice Plus for around 6 months on and off. I started on the boosters and had to quit them because they gave me terrible stomach ache and cramping with added diarrhoea for 3 days straight. They have this massive support network set-up on Facebook but when you ask for advice its like speaking to a little robot who will just tell you the same old garbage and advise another product. So I decided to get the shakes next which were not cheap (around about £30+ a month for 4 months). Same applied here, with the bad stomach and the cramps with frequent toilet trips all day. So i went back to the support group and she advised to send back what i had not opened for a refund. I did this, and feeling quite happy i was able to again i took her advice and got the capsules. Exactly the same story here, stomach ache and the toilet is my haven. Its been 4 days since i took my last capsule and my stomach is no better with no sign of letting up, and to make matters worse I noticed they have still continued to take payments for the shakes. Angry

I see all these people on Facebook raving about this stuff and some of them look like they don’t even need to loose weight. Me on the other hand am desperate to shed some excess and all I have ended up with is a big bloody bill for bad bowels. Angry

If anyone has any experience with juice plus please let me know, I am sick of asking on Facebook and getting the same drivel back.

Juice Plus is sold by Multi Level Marketing sales people. They want your money, they do not want you to get better/fitter/slimmer/healthier.

I'd be concerned that you are having bowel problems as a result.

just stop them.
they are not good for your and your purse.
if you want to lose weight it's the old chestnut of calories in (=diet) versus calories out (exercise).

No personal experience but I have a friend that promotes and sells Juice Plus on Facebook. Bloody annoying. All the 'success story' posts are obviously obtained with far more input than Juice Plus (if they even use it at all).

I thought it was all a waste of time and money to be honest. I'm sorry that you have had a bad experience and are feeling unwell. You need to let them know and press for a refund and not more pills etc.

Slimming world works well. It's based around low GI so you eat load too.

Juice Plus is snake oil horseshit. Do your guts and your purse a favour and stop buying it.

You're better off spending the money on proper food.

I had a relative who started doing JP, she went crazy about it for a while (selling it, putting her children on it) so I asked her about it. I calculated how much quality top notch food I could buy for the same amount as a monthly JP subscription and it was a no brainer! Ocado got my ££'s instead.

I would phone your bank and get them to stop the DD and then quote the direct debit guarantee at JP and get a refund.

My relative has gone quiet in the JP side and has stared going to slimming world and the gym, she looks better for it tbh!

I did juice plus religiously for approx 6 months in 2014. I lost just under 3 stone however I was doing about 1.5 hours of exercise per day along with walking 4 miles to work every morning. I suspect that the weight loss was down to the exercise rather than the juice plus shakes.

They say that there are massive nutritional benefits to the shakes and capsules however I found that my hair was falling out and my skin and nails were in a terrible condition. In my head though I thought this was worth it as I was losing weight continuously.

Having stopped juice plus, I continued with exercise and started a healthy eating plan which I supplemented with slim fast shakes when in a hurry and lost another 1.5 stone.

The weight loss was slower but I felt much better in myself and had a lot more energy. I wouldn't be tempted to start juice plus again after my experience.

Healthy eating and exercise are much better for you

What on earth is in it?
Last winter I was juicing my own lunch. Green veg with an apple to sweeten things a bit.
After about a week I noticed for a little while after my stomach didn't feel too good .
Still I kept it up, when the winter came to a close I came to the decision that my stomach/ digestion just didn't like it.
Maybe it's just too much goodness .
I dowsed these smoothies and found my spleen just didn't like cold food especially in the winter.
I now have a soup and my digestion feels much happier.
Interested to know what's in them all the same.

When you eat the whole veg or fruit you're maybe getting something more balanced.
I'm just guessing I don't know...but I wouldn't touch Jp with a barge pole.

I done juice plus!, 2 shakes a day 1 booster half an hour before your 1 meal a day! (500 cal) worked out 1hour and half a day , i done this for 3 months, and I didn't lose a thing just made me have no energy, constantly felt weak!, when I spoke to them about it they ignored me!! :| it's a scam, most of the people that are "losing weight" on it are probably on drugs!, :/ no one I know have lost any weight!, waste of money!

It contains fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which feeds bad bacteria and is no good for people with IBS or SIBO etc. I tried one shake, I had bloating and lots of burping. I would rather go completely natural and do my own juicing and smoothie making. I have some leftover sachets and capsules now.
