Anyone with multiple stones to lose who want to lose 2 stone by the end of 2016.

I know there is a thread for active weight loss but a quick look shows its already started and seems to be followed by those who have 1 to 2 stone to lose. This positive support thread is for us heavier ones with the short term goal to lose 2 stone by Christmas.

Some will remember my weight loss journey. Several stones lost and several more to go. I thought it might be nice for us to boast about our losses or cry about our gains together. Support with no judgement.

I use Rosemary Conley for the recipes. I follow 1400 cals down from 1800 when I first started. Do you know if you'll follow a plan? I hear good things about slimming world actually.

Actually just joined SW; I'm in it for the long haul now; fed up of losing loads of weight then piling it back on again. 😡 Rosemary Conley has some lovely recipes. Goal-lose 2lbs this week!

2lbs is good goal good luck. I'm hoping to lose more as I've been on holiday for 6 weeks so have stocked up on lbs 😂 I also need to exercise.

I'm in! I was only saying to a friend today id like to lose 2 (maybe 3) stone by Christmas. I haven't dared weigh myself lately but I will do on Monday when I start (it's my 30th birthday party tomorrow so I'm not starting until Monday as I'll be setting myself up to fail) but it will be the last Monday I re-start. Looking forward to getting to know you all and share in our losses together!

Im not really following a plan as such. as i suck at sticking to diet plans Just trying to eat 3 meals a day, more veg in general and drink 2litres water a day. Oh, and to stop snacking on rubbish/drinking diet coke like its going out of fashion Grin

Wow great response. I was thinking of 3 stone for myself but if I lose 2 stone I will be in a stone bracket that I can't ever remember being in. I suspect as a teenager I may have been but that was a long time ago.

I don't follow a diet menu as I'm a creature of habit, cereal for breakfast, cucumber, pepper, tomato and carrot with crackers and either ham or cottage cheese for lunch, I should eat a fruit snack but I eat tonnes of veg and I don't really like it, for dinner I always have a plate of veg, 100 cals of rice of pasta and about 100/150grams of meat of fish. Sounds dull but from that my dinner ranges from fish with rice stir fry, beef stew, chicken curry (thai or korma), levi mince and pasta, more curry :) And although I know its cheating I also stock up on a couple of count on us meals a week for days when I get home and don't want to cook. On saying that I slow cooker a lot of food. What does everyone else do food wise?

Can I join? I really need 2 lose weight but feel like I haven't got any support from anyone (partner loves take aways) I would love 2 lose 2 stone by Xmas! But i'm not following any plans just trying my best with the healthy eating and drinking water instead of fizzy drinks all the time Grin

I've done SW in the past and lost three stone so know I can do it. My sugar cravings are just always winning out at the moment.

Feel disgusting though and work with slim people. I'm never going to be small but I'd like to get to a size 12, a couple of stone by Christmas would be great.

Me too please!

I'm pretty good at sticking to plans once I actually get into them but if normally go on holiday late November and then fail to get back to healthy eating for months on end.

I'd like to lose 2 stone by the end of November - we aren't going on holiday sadly but I'd like to feel good at Christmas for once.

My plan is just calorie counting at the moment. I'm also going to add in some HIIT but without any weights as I found weight training really slowed down my loss. Once I'm closer to my goal weight I'll start weight training again to try and build lean muscle.

Want to lose 4, although 3 would bring me already very close to where I want to be, have lost a bit over 2 since end of May. Just calorie counting.

I'd like to join too please! Have lost a stone and a half since this day last year (or so MFP tells me) which is great, but feels farrrr too slow. I'm not eating breakfast (16:8) and no carbs in the evening, plus keeping calories down to around 1200 a day. My big downfall is chocolatey snacks - on the days I don't snack, I can struggle to eat 1200 calories. Really need to get and keep some willpower! Losing 2 stones would get me to the weight I was at my wedding in 2010, which would be absolutely fantastic 😄

I'd like to join this. I have a lot to lose. Recently celebrated getting down to being just obese (rather than morbidly....). I did 8 weeks of the blood sugar diet and lost just over 3 stone. Then I had a break over the summer where I have managed to maintain and am just on day 3 of another 8 weeks of BSD. Couple of stone before my son's wedding in November would be wonderful!

I'm in. I've lost 4st 2.5lbs already and have 2st 11.5lbs to go until I reach target. I'd love to get most of that gone by the end of the year. I started slimming world in February and this is the longest I've ever stuck to a diet. I've lost weight every week bar one when I gained a lb during Dd's birthday celebrations.

Can I chuck my hat in too pls?!! My bmi says I need to lose 6 ultimately but want to make a positive change (2 st would be awesome!) by Xmas. Joined SW last week and hoping for an epic first week weigh in to motivate for next week and to justify the effort this week. Smile

I'm in (again!!) Im going to follow sw but not go to meetings.I lost 2 stone then put 3 back on. Im the heaviest ive ever been and I'm feeling really lousy with it.

I have been trying to lose weight since last Sept without success. I've lost and put on the same half stone about four times!!

Now the stressful return to work/school has been negotiated - I'd like to refocus on healthy eating and exercise!

I'm in please. Probably about 5 stone to lose in total so 2-3 stone by Christmas would be great.

I'm going to use mpf and start to move more (I have a fitbit but have come to the conclusion that simply wearing it does not work...I need to walk!)

I'm in, need to lose 2 stone to get back to my previous goal weight. I became a grandparent for the first time yesterday morning and want to be slimmer, healthier and happier nanna to my gorgeous new granddaughter Smile

Hi there, I would really like to join in too. I have a lot to lose, 2 stone is just a drop in the fatty ocean I'm afraid but it will certainly help. I am following the old weight watchers pro points with my eldest daughter and weigh in on a friday. So far I have lost 6lb in the last couple of weeks. Good luck to everyone.
