anyone sucessfully used slimfast please?

I need to lose a stone, have awful "backfat".
I have some slim fast, thought it may give me a bit of a kick start- I've tried cutting portion size, reducing carbs and wine and nothings happened.
I think if I lost say, a kg or so in the first week this would spur me on the healthier eating plan long term.
Any tips please?

I think Slimfast is easy when the weather's warm. I was planning to do it this summer but I just don't fancy milkshakes in this rubbish weather.
I like to blitz it in a blender with about a dozen ice cubes to make a really thick and heavy pint of shake. Keeps me full and satisfied.
I might start myself!
