5-6 weeks to loose a good stone - is this possible?

Im off to a wedding August and have a dress which is abit snug particularly over my bust, when I loose weight it always goes from there usually.

Day one and Im going to try and stick to a SW based diet plus do kettles in the mornings and a plank then a clubbercise class once a week.

What do you think?

Yes it is possible but I would keep an eye on your calories. If you stick to 1200- 1400 per day you will definitely lose it. I don't really know about Slimming World but if you know that works for you then fine. I know I would pig out on free foods and end up with no calorie deficit

SW seems to work for me, I rally need this dress to fit as I cant afford to buy anything else and it is a lovely dress

Yes it is most definitely possible and this is exactly how to do it.

Please read the entire post, for your safety. Especially the refeed part, massively important for women!

It may seem extreme but you don't have to worry about calories!

I lost a stone in 3 weeks on slimming world - do a few SP days if you want a boost after the first fortnight, but it really does work if you stick to it.

I found that doing a detox helped me massively to loose the stone I needed to get off! I cut out all fizzy drinks, tea coffee etc and drank solely water for 4 weeks, that combined with walking to work and switching my sandwiches to salad or soup (I still had my normal evening meals or takeaways) and I found myself loosing nearly 2 stone in 5 weeks! It's possible!!!

Dolph That Bulletproof regime looks dangerous and very extreme. I think the OP is looking for a safe healthy way to lose some weight.

You're looking to lose 2-3 lbs a week, which is higher than usually recommended (1-2lbs) but achievable.

Restricting intake to about the 1200 calorie mark should see good progress (track accurately, it's only for a little while) and as well as doing set piece exercise sessions, increase the amount you move in day to day life (the old fashioned advice of walking everywhere, taking the stairs, getting off the bus a stop early etc)

That Bulletproof diet looks very dodgy. I don't like the amount of marketing in the blurb for a start, and I'd be very wary of a diet that actually requires you to have liver and kidney function tests before you start it - that tells you it's going to put an enormous amount of strain on the hepatorenal system during it, and that's something you don't want to fuck with.

Dolph, so essentially starve yourself for days on end and drink nothing but coffee with oil in it. Sounds very healthy.....
Good luck OP, I just lost a stone over 8 weeks or so. Fell off the wagon a few times- would have been faster if not. Now hoping to lose another stone (taking it in stages- I have 3 st to lose in total).

I've lost 10lbs in 4 weeks with slimming world (I only have 1.5 stone to lose overall) and I'm eating lots and healthily. Working for me.
