How do I get rid of that last bit of belly fat??

Had DS a year ago (and two weeks if anyone want to be specific). I'm 5'3 and have dropped from a 10stone 9 to an 8stone 11 after pregnancy.
Before pregnancy I was 7stone 8

I'm not really too fussed about loosing weight as such. The number on the scales doesn't bother me. However what does is this flipping bit of tummy fat that's still left!
I almost feel like it's excess skin but it's been feeling a bit firmer the last week or two.

What on earth can I do to tone my belly up?

Is it that bit just below your belly button? That's the bit I have an issue with!

Everything I've read says cardio + lower abs exercises such as kettlebell swings, reverse crunches, hip lifts, scissor kicks etc. Also diet is massive - low carb, no sugar, sodas or anything that may cause bloating.

I do think some people (like me!) are just destined to always have it. DH has very low body fat and still has a little bit of belly fat.

Jamie I think that's what Jillian Michaels calls "that little pooch that you don't dig" Grin

I'm in the same boat - lost about 10lbs and have a healthy / low BMI but the belly fat is stubborn!

Glad I'm not the only one then! It's such a curse. Maybe I'll just buy a corset and stuff myself into it whenever I need to haha

The problem I have with doing exercises like sit ups, squats etc etc is this I go so light headed and it gives me a headache Hmm
