I have a week off work at the end of February and I think I would like to be able to go away somewhere.

Anyone got any places or ideas?

I could just book into a spa hotel with a gym?!

How about a Juice retreat in Portugal?

I went to one of these retreats in Turkey - it was great. All juices made for you, no food around to tempt you, nice people, and lots of activities. Would love to go again.

Isn't there a world famous place at Monchique in Portugal? The name escapes me though

If you want my advice, but you probably don't, is to not waste your well earned holiday on trying to lose weight because you won't do it in a week and you end up feeling bad and not relaxed. By all means book a 'healthy holiday' but back it up with some proper weight loss classes here. I did weight watchers years ago and I have never piled on the pounds since. Slimming World seems popular now. Learn how to lose weight, have a good holiday and be confident if you plateau on holiday that's ok.
