Jillian Michaels - 30 day shred - can you all do the exercises?

I consider myself reasonably fit and I have exercised for all my adult life. I have been doing the 30 day shred exercises for ages - mixing it up with other stuff etc. But I still have to pause Level 3 after the first bit of cardio...

To those that do the 30 DS - how do you plough on without throwing up?!

Do something harder for a while (like, insanity or something) and genuinely push yourself, then go back to doing the shred after a few weeks. It suddenly seems piss easy in comparison, even if you don't feel like you got any fitter in the meantime!

I actually find level 3 easier than 2! Not very helpful, sorry. What weights do you use?

I find level 3 the easier than 2 and have to do it twice or add in a run or something afterwards. What are you struggling with?

It's the standing mountain climbers and then going into the squats immediately. I always have to sit down between the two.

Insanity? That seems way beyond me...

I too find level 2 easier in some ways than 3. It involves less coordination but I feel as though I've had a better workout at the end. So I've stuck there and am focusing on doing the level 2 exercises properly

The Beginner Shred is the way forward! None of the knee problems and still the same amazing results. I'm so happy she listened to feedback and bought out a DVD for the rest of us Wink

have you gone to 3 too early?

I did it years ago - you mean Original Shred, right? I also thought 2 was harder than 3. I never understood that.

Maybe just do the first bit of cardio as easy as you can. Are you warmed up, could that be the issue?
