anyone done the GM 7 day plan?

I'm in need of a pre-Christmas blitz and thought I'd give this a try so wondered if anyone has done it before?

It's basically LOTS of water then day 1 fruit, day 2 veg, day 3 mix of both, day 4 banana & milk, day 5 lean meat & tomato, day 6 meat & veg and day 7 brown rice and veg. It talks of 7-10lb weight loss but I'd be happy with 4 or 5 and just want some structure to help me blitz the sugar and naughty snacking that's been creeping into my diet recently.
Any thoughts ?

I'm (unfashionably) a fan of crash diets, so I'm all for it. :)

It won't be popular on MN though, just you wait and see.

Ok so I agree crash diets aren't great as a rule but omfg I've lost 7 lbs in 4 days & my trousers are hanging off me Grin. I'm no longer bloated and sleeping really well (& longer as gong to bed earlier to avoid boredom eaten!). Day 1 was tough, day 2 & 3 surprisingly easy and today another tough one not helped by pre-menstrual hunger pangs and not particularly liking banana!

I hope to see it thought to the full 7 days and will post again but tbh, just doing the first 3 days alone have made a big difference so I'll definitely use that again.

Did you do it?

Did 5 days but a 40km bike ride Friday and felt I needed more fuel than beef & tomatoes so decided that was enough for me Confused. I think it was banana day 4 where I lost my real motivation and started to feel hungry but the lack of variety did get boring.

I have been inspired by the weight loss & first few days which I found really useful to teach me better eating habits and have continued that aspect and also now considering doing a regular 1 or 2 day fast.
