Crisps addiction!

I had a baby almost 6 months ago, and lost my baby weight quickly through eating properly and got back into the gym 5 weeks after the birth....felt fantastic!!
Now, fast forward 5 months, and I have slipped. I admit it's out of pure laziness. I have stopped eating breakfast, so by 10am I'm starving and reach for the crisps. The days DH comes home for lunch, I eat a proper lunch (baked potato, soup, pasta salad) because I cook it for him, so might as well cook for myself too. But the days he doesn't come home, it's crisps for lunch. Afternoons, I snack on crisps! It's like an addiction...I can't stop myself! And I'm slowly gaining weight Sad I've always been very petite. 5'3", and before I fell pregnant I had never been heavier than 8 stone. Now I'm pushing 9 and half stone, which might not seem like a problem, but to me, it's a lot of weight to gain, and I want rid!!
Anyone got any quick, easy lunch ideas that I can do in 10-15 mins? Or snacks to replace crisps? I tried eating fruit and veg sticks, but I think it's the salt in crisps that I'm craving!

How about soup? If you have the time (and energy!) you could make your own for a fraction of the calories of a tinned soup? Or tinned soup if you're not a whiz in the kitchen (I am not!)

Omelette? I'm low carbing so I love a nice omelette. Spinach and mushroom omelette with goats cheese melted on top is my favourite and the protein and fat from the eggs and goats cheese seem to keep me full!

Maybe keep some bits of chicken and salad in the fridge and do a wrap? Or a ham salad with cream cheese wrap?

I've never really had a fondness for crisps but I do have a massive sweet tooth so I just don't have it available in the house otherwise it would be gone in a day

Good luck Grin

For the immediate issue para ham is nice and salty. Nuts aren't salty but a similar snack. You could try weaning yourself off crisps by switching to a few kettlechips on a plate with some meat and veg, or cheese and salad.

You could also get a recipe book on baby led weaning and start thinking about lunches you could share with your baby as you will have to prepare those anyway? Add in some extra salad for you?
