5' 6" and what weight and dress size?

So, I could probably be described as having a touch of body dysmorphia but I am quite surprised by my dress size considering my weight and appearance.

Nosey nosey, I know, but I'm supercurious what size other people are compared to their weight if you're happy to share...

8st 12/9st - usually a 10. But sometimes an 8 depending on fit/shop.

Was 10st 5 at heaviest a few years ago and had begun buying a 14. It didn't look great on me as I have a round cheeked face and fat arms. Plenty of other people would look fine at this weight though, just as plenty would look too thin at my current weight. It's a lot to do with build and where you carry weight.

5 foot 6 (and a half - hope the half doesn't exclude me)

Size 16 bottom
Size 20 top (38F boobs)

Weight: 15 st 12 lbs

I'm very dense - lots of muscle under the flab. Apparently as a kid doctors would re-check their scales every time I stood on them because they couldn't believe that I would weigh so much and they could count every one of my ribs...

10st 3 and big end of size 12. My ideal weight is between 9 and 9.5, but I haven't been back there since I had DD, who's nearly 2, so not a good excuse any more. I feel fat and hate it.

9 stone 7Ib, sometimes 9 4/5Ib if I've been doing some exercise/eating less. Dress size - well it depends on the shop! Recently I have bought a size 8 top and trousers which is crazy as I'm really not a size 8!!
A few years back before I had children I was wearing a 12 and I'm definitely a different shape now (bigger round the hips/belly) More often than not I wear a 10 now.
I wouldn't go by dress size compared to weight as every shop is so different.

10/12 - depending on the shop. Have quite broad shoulders so sometimes even a 14.

5 foot 5
10.5 stones, size 10-12

Feeling a lot better than this time last year when I was 16 stone and a size 18 post pregnancy, having always been an 8-10.

Pooka - you're my body double. 9st 9 and a 10/12. I've recently lost nearly a stone but I've never been more than a size 12.

Size 12. Not sure what I weigh - 9 stone something-teen.

If I try I can be about 9 stone 7 and a size 10 but my face no longer suits being slim (approaching 40).

I'm afraid that is unlikely. You have to get rid of the fat before your body starts building muscle. It is all but impossible to have muscle hidden away under fat.

Almost 12 stone, size 16. Chocolate and cake is my downfall.

10 stone

size 12-14, depending on the brand.

I find sizing impossible, my body type is very 'apple on 2 sticks' I carry most of my weight on my waist and my butt is a stick-out one. My legs are two pieces of string.

I was always 8st 10ish, size 10. But baby-related exhaustion and a sweet tooth mean I'm now almost 10st and a size 12. It doesn't suit me and I feel horrible.
