I need to start again. Help me shift this weight

Did 5:2 last year and lost a couple of stone. I also run and got injured and lazy and slowly weight piled on. I know I'm eating too much and not always great stuff.

I'm now determined to sort this out. I can't 5:2 because of medication issues. I'm thinking calorie counting and cutting out stuff like white bread, refined sugar etc.

What else should I do?

Try nutracheck or MFP to record your weight loss journey. If you can't run - walk. Get a fitbit to track your steps.

I've started blogging to help me keep motivated.

I lost a stone (put some back on now) very slowly by changing what I ate for lunch. I made my own salads and cut out anything like biscuits, crisps and chocolate.

I'm about to,start again as I would like to lose a stone but this time I am changing both lunch and evening meals.

lefty that's pretty much the same what happened to me. I injured myself running, got into a job I hated so did no exercise for 5 months due to injury and ate crap due to being miserable. Now the weight I did lose has come back on.

Ive started MFP this week. Im also cutting down carbs and sugar. Not going low carb bootcamp style, that's far to hardcore for me, but cutting down a bit. Im also trying to get back into running again, but my knee still isnt great and I dont want to make it worse. I fear I may never be able to run like I did before.

That's how I feel about running :(. I can't really walk at any pace either as that also aggravates the injury. I managed to do junior parkrun with ds this morning at a very slow jog, so I'm getting there.

I need to sort out my lunches for work. And in general.
