When's best to weigh yourself?

Hi, I've been using MFP for 2 and a half weeks now and surprised at how well I'm sticking to it tbh. But this morning I weighed myself and I weighed myself just now and there was a 3 pound difference! When is the best time to weigh? Morning? Once a week?

First thing in the morning. Naked. After you've been to the loo. Grin

Agree with Spotty. That is the only time to weigh otherwise you are weighing all the food and drink that is in your body.

As long a you're consistent it doesn't matter too much. If you weigh at the same time each day and in the same circumstances you'll be able to see a trend. You're probably lighter just before breakfast (which for me is about midday and I'm doing a 16/8 fast) and after going to the loo.

Weigh as often as you like but bear in mind that weight will fluctuate due to time of the month, how much exercise you've done (muscles retain water to heal) and how much you've eaten (due to the weight of the food in your gut not actual weight gain).

I'm about 3lbs heavier if I weigh myself in the evening, with clothes on Shock

Great thanks! Yes I noticed a huge difference from morning to evening but then it went back down again by the next morning so it's all relative! Ok I think every Sunday morning will be a good time.
