After weight loss did you love your body?

Feeling really fed up. I've lost a stone and have half a stone to lose. As I near my goal I'm looking at my body and am not loving it. My lovely boobs look like saggy things and are lots smaller than they were and I'm just struggling to even like this body. I didn't like being over weight but I'm not sure I look better at all Sad

I've already mentioned this on another thread this morning so I'm going to sound like I'm obsessed!

A few years ago I lost a few stone. I got to my goal but still felt I had a long way to go. Then I started doing weights, and my body realy changed. My weight didn't, went up by a few pounds if anything, but I fitted into smaller jeans and actually liked the way I looked!

At the minute I'm trying to get back there again after having a baby last year.

Oh god I hate weights etc.swimming is about the only exercise I enjoy. Not sure it'll help the loose skin anyway (stretched from twin pg). I'm sure I'll get back into it again but currently wondering what's the point if I still look sh*t I might as well eat lots and have nice boobs. ... Having a very grumpy day.

I agree with gun toning up with weights always makes me like my body much more. For various reasons I have been to the gym for 6 months and although I haven't put on weight I've lost a lot of my muscle tone and I really dislike how I feel and look right now

I feel the same actually; pleased with my weight loss but not feeling like I am there shape-wise. I did come to the conclusion it is because I need to exercise and tone up today, so going to work on that

Yes, I've lost a stone and a half love it. I did get an exercise DVD but have only tried it twice.

m0therofdragons have you tried 5x5 stronglifts?

I've known a few people who claim weightlifting really helped tighten their skin, don't know if it's possible.

I think sometimes it can take time after losing weight to get used to your new body. Kind of like a new haircut, most people don't like it until they get used to it and stop seeing the way it was before.

I'm still self critical, but the more toned I get, the happier I feel as my skin shrinks and ages with me.

Take up yoga, pilates, tai chi, weight training

anything to build the muscles that will pull your skin back tight ane make your body shape look good
