Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone on here was currently doing the Dukan? I'm on day 2 of the attack phase and the results are good but feeling the temptations today and looking for buddies!

Also all the threads on Dukan seem to be quite old so thougt a new one wouldn't hurt.

Hello there

Just finishing day four of a very slightly modified attack phase ( I permit myself of nuts!). No idea if it's working. Too depressed to step on scales at the moment, but if I can do up my trousers more comfortably by the weekend I will replace the battery in my scales and start to do this properly.

What made you choose Dukan?

Ah thank you for replying! Thought i was the only one in the world for a second.

I'm going onto cruise phase today and so excited to have vegetables. I have been weighing myself morning and night and by now (according to my dukan plan) i should have lost 1.2 kg and i'm over that which has spurred me on to continue.

I chose Dukan as i've never dieted before and i wanted one that you could constantly graze on. With this i've found i'm not hungry at all.

I've done Dukan and it's very good for a quick weight loss. I do find it a bit restrictive.

My cousin had 20 stone to lose and he did it with Dukan and SW

How's cruise phase feeling New? Am sticking with Attack (plus nuts!) until Sunday. Have just started reading Dr John Briffa's book: Escape the Diet Trap. Haven't got to the bit yet where he discusses high fat Vs low fat low carb approaches, but am interested in the science. Might consider switching to something like the Idiot Proof Diet if he makes a strong case!

And well done to your cousin Dowser. What a brilliant achievement: awesome.

Hello Dukanners!
Just popping on to give you encouragement. I did it 2012 and lost 18lb.
It's a brilliant diet (if you like meat and don't have a sweet tooth). My weight stabilised and I've kept 10lb off. It really does work and Dr Dukan's predictions are all right.
Keep up the good work. If you need support or tips let me know.
