Ok, I was rather ill. I'll spare you all the details, but let's just say I had a good clear out. The next day I couldn't drink liquid and it was 2 days before I managed a slice of toast.

I thought it would be a great time for me to work at losing some weight. I'm eating properly again now, but I'm trying to eat what I need rather than what I want. Portion control has always been an issue for me so I'm hoping my new smaller stomach will help.

My aims:
Sensible portions.
More vegetables/fruit.
More exercise. - Walking in the country.
Drink more.
Post weight on here every Monday.

I should be 14 stone. A few years ago I was 20. I lost weight and got to 16 1/2 stone but gradually went up to 18 1/2 again.
Last week: 18 stone 8lbs.
This Monday: 18 stone 3lbs.

Well done !!

Well done but just be aware that you would have just lost fluid and once you feel normal it will come back. Good kickstart though to get you in the mood smile

What height are you that you 'should be 14 stone'?

It was fluid b7t you are right it was a great , if explosive start. It is quite common for people to loose about 8pound in the first week. Healthy weight loss is about half a pound a week. Your plan sounds fab.

I know it was kind of a bad thing to lose quite so much, but I tried to be positive about it.

I'm a 6'2" tall chap. My ideal weight is supposed to be 11-14 stone. My goal is to get to 16 1/2 to get back in my jogging gear. I used to go running in some woods near me, and to my surprise, actually enjoyed it!

I'm hungry.

I lost 7lbs when I came back from Ibiza two years ago- literally lost it in 24 hours as I was so unwell (started vomiting on the flight home and didnt stop for the day)

Soon crept back on over the follwoing few days
