I need to loose 2.5 stone to be healthy weight range and I am just rubbish without a plan. I cannot make WW or SW meetings as I do not finish work/child runs etc. on time and DH works late most nights so that is out.

I cannot do 5:2, tried and failed, I have real issues with sugar levels and if I get too low I feel so poorly (just managed to get myself out of the pre-diabetic range so at least that is something).

If I calorie count I cheat, plain and simple, I need a plan, but as I cannot eat anything with 10gms of sugar per 100gms most cereals are out. I am also lactose intolerant. I let these thing let me cheat, rubbish I know.

I am running a 10km charity race in December so am running about 15kms a week at the moment which is making me feel great but not shifting a single ounce.

Does anyone have any week day plans I could stick to?

I seriously need to do this and would love some help and advise?

Many thanks
TA

Given all your info I would say, do a slightly less faddy version of Dukan.

2 eggs per day
Unlimited egg whites
Unlimited lean proteins chicken/turkey/lean ham etc
Unlimited no salad, try to stay off root veg, so lots of leafy greens, broccoli etc.
Unlimited fish/salmon/prawns etc

Try that maybe. Most food is unlimited so should be no low blood sugar issues. No sugar involved. You can add Muller Lights toffee and vanilla if you fancy a sweet treat.

Good luck!

Just give up carbs and you will be amazed at how the weight drops off. No bread, rice, pasta, cakes, potatoes.

Thanks everyone, will definitely try this. I've tried WW online but still forget to log in, I'll get going and try the whole Dukan approach I think - thank you!
