The table is pulled out of the way. The jingly music is playing. Jillian is grinning at me and waiting to introduce me to her "two best girls helping us out". But I cannot bring myself to press play.
I did so well last week, a full week of shredding and watching what I eat. This week, Mr Motivation has left the building. I've already hada a square of chocolate.

Evening everyone. Right well i did day 9 on Wednesday but am now visiting family and have not shredded since blush will get back on it on Monday. I charged around the play gym with DS this afternoon so that must have burnt a few calories.

Well done Binks excellent. I know what you mean about feeling strong, it is very satisfying. Good luck to those shredding and hope the running is good.

Morning, is anyone still out there?! Finally back on the shredding this morning. Day 10 level 2 completed. Think i will do a few more days of level 2 before moving up.

RippingYarns Tue 17-Sep-13 09:22:35

Hello twenty

Still lurking here, I've picked up a stomach bug and also the start of shin splints so off running for 2 weeks but hoping to start shredding again tomorrow.

I'll be doing l2 so will keep you company until my legs have recovered

<Tiptoes back in>

Morning! Okay, so it's not a good idea to miss 8 days. Definitely not. I've just done (after a fashion) Day 10 of L2. It was hard. Very hard. I didn't even complete it and I ache. The gallstone attack knocked me off my feet for a good few days last week and by the time the weekend came there was no point in even trying to find an hour for myself. I'm going to do a few more days (at least) of L2 to see whether I can build my strength back up - felt distinctly wobbly this morning. Sounds like we're at the same stage Twenty.

Ripping - sorry to hear about the bug and the splints but good to see you back here!

Ducky, welcome!

Binks - well done! What's your plan next?

Is anyone else finding it more difficult to find the time to exercise now the children are back at school? Ironically, I am - I thought it would be a breeze without CBeebies in the background and kids running past but I'm so busy trying to squeeze my whole day into a morning that it's impossible. Once 2pm comes, that's me - from then until around 8.30pm it's school collections, homework supervision, dinner, more homework, baths and bed for the kids - I feel tired thinking about it!

Okay, off for my reward of a hot shower now!

It's through. I'm starting tonight.

This is one evil Dvd isn't it? I object to getting sweaty but I object more to the apron 3 children and 1 c-secion plus chocolate have left me with, so am bloomy well getting on with it.

So here goes. I found the Hannah Waterman one quite bouncy and knackering.

I find the delights of Rosemary C paced in a very agreeable way I am such a gimmer but it has not toned anything.

I'm going to be muttering all sorts of unmentionables when she starts with the motivational stuff aren't I?

RippingYarns Tue 17-Sep-13 18:15:27

practicality, it might be cheesy, but they do help

like JM says, she gets results grin

good luck!

Well done everyone!

Have fallen by the wayside since school went back but did manage L2 D5 today.

Suspect it is actually Day 6 but as I haven't made a note or checked in here I have to assume it's 5. sad

practicality Thu 19-Sep-13 16:37:56

Well dear me- tena lady ahoy. I CLEARLY HAVE NO PELVIC FLOOR.
I dodged it for a couple of days but knuckled down today. It felt fine whilst I was doing it and it was strenuous but no OTT but afterwards my legs felt like jelly and they still do 3 hours later....

TwentyTinyToes Thu 19-Sep-13 20:47:02

...posted too soon. I am feeling motivated because i managed to get my engagement ring back on, hurrah, DD is only 8 months!

MrsMc apologies i spelled your name incorrectly and welcome Ducky.

TwentyTinyToes Fri 20-Sep-13 11:32:38

Day 12 of level 2 completed, yet to manage a press up confused but the rest i can do mostly

MrsMcGregor Fri 20-Sep-13 22:54:36

Did day 11 of L2 today. A few attempted press-ups but by the third cardio circuit I was begging for mercy!

Well done you guys. Don't know whether it will be Sunday or Monday next for me. Tomorrow is a day of ferrying kids to various activities!

TwentyTinyToes Sat 21-Sep-13 16:22:24

I did level 3! Really enjoyed it, much more interesting than level 2. I could do some of the harder bits too.

Come on you lot, get on with it?! grin

TwentyTinyToes Sat 21-Sep-13 16:34:16

Oh and see my long post from Thursday isn't showing.

Ripping are you feeling better now? MrsMc see you here next week! Practicality it gets a lot easier quite quickly so good luck.

practicality Sat 21-Sep-13 19:45:29

Done day 2 today after missing one out on account of my legs being so stiff. I took myself out on a massive 2 hour walk yesterday which helped ease things up. Got on with it today and it wasn't too exhausting. The crunches where you have to lift your legs and bum kill my lower spine though. It felt really crunchy. Yowl.

Does anyone else struggle to lift themselves during crunches wihout wanging their head up? I have no stomach muscles

TwentyTinyToes Sun 22-Sep-13 18:21:52

Day 2 of level 3 completed. Go me! grin

TwentyTinyToes Mon 23-Sep-13 08:51:55

Day 3 of level 3 grin planned rest day tomorrow i think.

RippingYarns Tue 24-Sep-13 08:17:19

Sorry Twenty, didn't see you ask about me, thank you

I'm feeling much better, back out running now and into week2 of 5:2 fasting which I'm finding surprisingly easy

Now I'm well again and sorted out my shins I'll be shredding on non-running days

L3 shred is great fun isn't it?

IcedCoffeeQueen Tue 24-Sep-13 11:22:04

wallpaperaddict Sat 28-Sep-13 10:38:49

Hi twenty! I've not checked in for ages but great to see you working your way through L3! I loved L3,it was good fun! What plans have you got for after you're shredded? Im on W2 of ripped in 30, I didn't particularly like W1 but W2 is a really good challenge!

RippingYarns Sat 28-Sep-13 10:53:00

Hello wallpaper, I was thinking about you the other day, you must be feeling fantastic now!

TwentyTinyToes Mon 30-Sep-13 12:36:47

Hey wallpaper and ripping well i have poorly DC so shredding is on hold, haven't managed to shred since Thursday. Gutted because i was really enjoying level 3. If they miraculously nap at the same time or at all i'll squeeze it in but it looks unlikely.

Wallpaper how long is each workout in ripped? I would really like a dynamic yoga dvd with 30 minute workouts, any ideas?

RippingYarns Mon 30-Sep-13 16:11:46

sad hope the miniToes's are better soon Twenty

IME it takes a long time and a lot of bad eating to undo the good work you've already put in, you'll be back on the shredmill in no time thanks
