not a q re my willpower (negligible) but is it possible?

I've somehow chunked up dramatically for the first time in my life (sorry, genetics, not discipline (see willpower above) and don't know if am setting an impossible goal.

Yes, try WW, 2lb a week is easily achievable.

I'm going to try on my own just stopping drinking during the week, no crisps, loads of fruit and water and something I've heard of called exercise... well will give it a week and see how that goes

Good luck!
Take your measurements first too - if you are exercising more you might lose no lbs but some inches.

hello, Meowmix, I'v been doing Weightwatchers and have lost 9lb in 3 weeks. And I haven't got that much to lose - am now 10.7 and 5.7. so, yes, reckon could lose a stone in 7 weeks.

can you go to a gym, I am not a gym bunny type person and dont like dieting cos I am a piggy, but i joined the gym 10 weeks before my holiday and lost 12lbs, i ate exactly what i liked including chips and curry sauce (fave), chinese, biccies etc etc, but just kept up my gym attendence 3-4 times a week and its been fab, dont feel like i'm depriving myself.

Think you have to find what works for you though, good luck, you can do it Smile

I lost a stone in 5 weeks when I started slimming world earlier this year. I am pg now, so I have put some of it back on, but the eating plan is great. You can have spuds a plenty.

Yes; it's a reasonable amount to lose in that sort of time.

From time to time I've written articles on this which essentially just say 'eat a bit less cake, drink a bit less booze and do a bit more exercise'...I do remember though that exercise is a problem for you and wondered if you'd found any way round it?

im joining slimming world tonight, in an effort to be almost a stone lighter for my camping trip and race for life in 6 weeks time....

im dreading the weigh in - my weight is something i refuse to monitor by scales, so dont own a set, but i really need to start being able to get into my clothes! Been pregnant for 2 summers running - i want to enjoy this year without feeling like a sack of spuds!

lord MI you have a good memory.

no have just resigned self to getting up at 5am to fit exercise in. So will be thin but knackered.

Its got to be done. That or I have to buy an entire new wardrobe.
