points, how many do you get, if you are X weight?

i have formula to work out points...

calories /50 + fat/12 - fibre/5 = points, but cant remember how many points for X weight! and whats the new free no point malarkey all about?

You are allowed 21 extra points per week on the No Count plan. Most fruit and veg have no points so you can snack on these. Eat healthy meals using foods from no count list but watch portion size. (Will find list in a min but similar to GI)

To calculate daily points for full choice tell me your sex, age, height, how active you are. You can then add your weight on to my total and that will give you youir points.

Sorry jstbcs - baby woke and that was the end of my evening. Yes I'm doing WW, so far I've lost 21 lbs and 3 more to go to get to goal!

From the info you gave me you have scored 10, now add how many stones you weigh, not the pounds, to this total and that gives you your daily points allowance. e.g if you weigh 10stone 4 lbs just add 10.

Does that make sense. Good luck.

Rice, pasta, noodles and couscous are all on the no count list. Aha, have found a shortish version of list.
Whole fruit, veg and beans,
Rice pasta and potatoes
Lean meat,fish, poultry and eggs
Skimmed milk, soya milk, low fat yog, low fat fromage frais, cottage cheeses and low fat soft cheese,
Non sugary breakfast cereals,
Crispbread, rice cakes.
Soup
Quorn and tofu
Low fat cook spray, fat or oil free dressing, sugar free jelly
Tea coffee, water and diet drinks.
I joined ww in Feb so it's taken me just over 4 months to lose the weight.

Tallmummy me too please.
I went to ww a few years back more as a supportive friend. I only had 1/2 a stone to lose and was allowed 18 points.
I am f/33/5'2" (and 10.5 stones)

Also, I'd can't remember portion sizes for rice and pasta.
Could you tell me points and weight for a medium portion please?

Thanks!

WICGUW your points allowance is 10 + how many stone you weigh.
Wintersun I make yours 20 . It's 3 points for a med portion of rice and 2 points for pasta.
Now I'd better scarper before the WW police come and get me.Grin

Now can I eat fish freely?

peachyClair · 07/06/2006 16:22

fish has points, but if you like that sort of thing (as I do) I found that summer eating and the no count plan worked well together- worked for me anyhow (said she, after buying another size 12 dress today Grin)

Fish ranges from 1.5 points to 5.5 points depending on how oily it is. On No Count fish is free.
