Sorry this is so long! I really would love some advice as to whether I'm doing the right thing.

On a drive to improve my health and lose weight but just been told my diet is bad as it can be fairly repetitive and I should be mixing it up daily for health.

At the moment I have a poached egg or turkey bacon (I know its processed but I can't stomach eggs every day) 1/2 can of tomatoes and 80gm mushrooms cooked in 2 tsp olive oil with a small slice of granary toast for breakfast. I also have a yakult. I've tried things like porridge etc and only a cooked breakfast keeps me filled up.

The days also get repetitive as I'm single and have limited freezer space. So its the same for a few days while things get used up.

I graze during the afternoon as it keeps me going and I have a smaller dinner. At the moment its a handful of almonds, a matchbox size piece of cheese, red apple, black grapes, cherry toms, cucumber and carrot sticks. I also have a big mug of homemade soup at lunchtime, at the moment its courgette, celery, peppers, onions, canned toms and chickpeas with fresh chilli, parsley, coriander and lemon juice.

Dinner is lean protein, or oily fish with a big salad or non-starchy veg. I use an olive oil dressing and a little avocado when not having fish so I get plenty of good fats.

I'm drinking plenty of herbal tea and water and limit real tea (no sugar) to 2 cups a day.

I've done my sums and am well within my calorie limits with room for a treat if needed. I'm losing weight nicely and can stick to it, but is this sort of plan acceptable for good health? I don't just want to be slim but fit and healthy.

I feel I can't do right for doing wrong Sad

Oh I also have 2 tbsp linseeds with water daily so I'm getting plenty of fibre.
