Morning esteemed leader.

Your menu looks very good.

I am not fasting today so it's cooked brekkie, roast beef and jumble berry crumble here today. No snacking though. [polishes halo]

Good morning! It's another gloriously sunny day here (northern England) so we plan to be outside most of the day again. Picnic lunch already sorted to eat in the park later.
B small wholemeal bagel with thin spread of smooth peanut butter, coffee.
L roast chicken, salad, maybe a bagel if I'm still hungry.
D poached egg on rye bread.
Snacks nuts, fruit. Drink lots of water. Some tea, coffee but no 'diet' drinks full of sweetener etc. Thank goodness my sweet tooth is finally going, pregnancy & EBF made me crave sugar like never before!
E just lots of walking, no hardship in this weather!

DD has started seriously refusing the spoon, so all meals are now self-fed, last night (seafood & broccoli korma) was interesting. The washing will be interesting too!

Marking place ! Croissant for breakfast, goats cheese salad for lunch and several glasses of white wine ryvita and cottage cheese for tea . Fasting tomorrow .

Well I stuck to my meal plan, except that it was spelt bread instead of rye bread for dinner. Also I didn't have any snacks as wasn't hungry for them - yet! But I did have a glass of that homemade mint lemonade (lemon juice, soda water & crushed mint leaves) it was very refreshing. I may have caught the sun a little Blush naughty me.

Yes Wellies the korma was lovely. Unfortunately DD managed to get it on her pale pink dress which, despite stain remover, a wash with Napisan, & an afternoon on the line in the sun, is still stained. Sad All suggestions welcome!

iheart I'm fasting tomorrow too.
Always tough after 3 days of NFD.
Good luck.

Sad at staining. Not sure 50shades some marks have never come out of DS's clothes but often I have success if I just repeat the stain removal processes.

I'm fasting tmrw too, although today was a fast too. It was so busy I only managed one meal of scrambled eggs at 9pm!

Three fasts planned this week and haven't fasted for a few months. I'm hoping the be fairly strict on nfd as I just tended to maintain previously and want to shift this last stone.

50shades the best thing for curry stains I find is to put fairy liquid on stain ASAP then rub in and rinse under hot water. It's the best thing for curry stains. Try it, although your stain is a bit old now. Theres something about the fairy which cuts through the grease and gets straight at the stain.

Oh. Struggling a bit.
Dh just brought me a coffee with milk (allowed by have to count the milk calories) and I know there's a homemade chocolate cake downstairs (ds insisted on chocolate cake yesterday).
Determined to stick to

9st 2lb 2oz.

So a loss of 1lb 3oz.
Not bad for someone who a cooked brerakfast yesterday followed by a lunch of roast beef, yorkshires, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, and two servings of fruit crumble with cream. Blush
Oh, and half a slice of chocolate cake and a piece of toast for tea.

Well done Emily!

Baking it turned out that despite the stain still being there last night, when I looked this morning, it was gone, as if by magic! So I didn't have to use your tip after all. But I will bear it in mind for next time. My new tip for curry stains - sunlight!

Well I am feeling very pleased with myself. Weighed myself this morning, am now 11 stone bang on. That's a total loss of 22 lb so far. I am moderately encouraged that at least I've not put on weight with my new diet so I'm going to carry on with it for a bit longer & see what happens, it feels less restrictive (although I'm not sure what I'm going to do about a work night out I'm going on in a few weeks - I am allowed one 'free meal' a week ie I can eat whatever I fancy so I might do that). Today the meal plan is:
B fresh fruit, plain yoghurt, muesli, couple of nuts.
L cold roast chicken, salad, a slice of spelt bread & butter.
D ? Not decided yet. Need to look & see what's in the fridge.
E walking again, it's bank holiday so I'm off work (woohoo) although it may rain later so no picnic today.
Snacks fruit / nuts if I want them, although the last few days I've not felt the need to snack between meals at all. Lots of water, no 'diet' drinks & nothing sugary at all.

Onwards and downwards fellow Revolutionaries!

Well done on the losses emily and 50shades fast day going ok today here just had x2 coffees with milk but its still early . I've been pretty rubbish on my NFDs this week though so I'm not sure how much ill have lost when I weigh in on thurs. need to remember that two days fasting does not give me a licence to overeat on other days. We went out for a family lunch yesterday and my sister was taking pictures of me and DD and I hated them, look so fat and lumpy so it's made me more determined .

Really impressive loss 50shades
Also impressive stain removal results.

Today's lunch sounds great.

No food yet (apart from the milk in my coffee.) herbal tea is holding the hunger at bay (I know, it's not even lunch time Grin)

50 and em well done on the losses. Salivating at your menu Emily!!

I got up early and did the shred and some gardening. Just had water so far. Off to shower than off out for a gentle walk. Think I might have cottage cheese salad for dinner tonight. I really want to lose 2lb this week but seem to only lose 1 or stay the same. Keep at it revs.

Emilythornesbff · 27/05/2013 18:59

baking that's impressive activity.
is shred good / doable?

just had my teeny weeny fasting supper: 1 banana, 1 nectarine, a slice of cold roast beef and a low cal hot chocolate drink.
stuffed Grin

nfd tomorrow. yay!

how you all done today?

So I don't think today can count as a fast day for me, didn't eat until 6pm but had spare ribs and oven chips when I did!! But we decided about 3pm to have that as a special bank holiday supper and so I made the conscious decision not to have anything else all day . Not going to succumb to my chocolate craving either lots of water and herbal tea tonight and then take 2 tomorrow. Well done on sticking to your fast emily

Report
Emilythornesbff · 27/05/2013 20:16

iheart i believe that's commonly referred to as a "mini fast"
sounds delish btw.
fwiw it might be worth your while just having a nfd tomorrow and your second fast day as originally planned.
i only say that because i abandoned a fasting day once in a similar way, then tried to fast the next day and failed and over ate. for me i had mentally done consecutive fasts but bailed on both days.
