Back to work soon and am buggered if I'm going to buy a complete new work wardrobe when I have nice clothes already that I'm just too fat to wear.

Stopped BF recently but still eating the same so am actually gaining more weight now.

Going away for a few days in a month and can't bear the thought of being this size or bigger when I'll be with a group of younger ladies who are all lovely and slim.

Anyway, CD it is. Going to see the counsellor on Monday. I'm 13st 5lbs now and would love to get back to 11st (pre DC weight). I'm 5' 10" so I'm a size 10/12 when 11st, I'm a size 16 now.

Anyone else doing CD? How have you found it? Is the first week pure hell? How do you deal with social events/nights out etc? If I stuck to it, could I loose a stone in a month?

I'm doing Lighter Life which is similar - have done Cambridge in the past. Cambridge is very effective but I tried it again recently and the products tasted terrible to me.

I've signed up for Lighter Life but it isn't really working for me and I am very confused as to why I'm not losing weight when I've been sticking rigidly to it.

I know a couple of people that did Lighterlife and were very successful. I'd like to do it but it's just too expensive. How long have you been doing it for? Have you had any weight loss at all?

Hey nomorewineformethen I started the cd last tuesday so am on day 6, it has been a lot easier than I expected!! I used to eat so much chocolate after having my baby that I gained 2 stone and am now 13.10 and want to get back to 11 stone...
I am doing the ss+ so have a chocolate shake for breakfast the toffe and walnut or lunch then I have a salad or tea and a butterscotch shake at 8ish... I am weirdly not feeling overally hungry, although I have to keep my self busy all the time and hence my house is constantly spotless!!
I am looking forward to next week as I am going to have the bars and mousse.
I will let you know how my weigh in goes on Tuesday :-)

Hi Vixster82
We have a similar amount of weight to lose so I'd be really interested to hear how your weigh in goes. Good luck!
I'm looking forward to starting but am concerned about how hungry I'll be so I'm glad to hear your are not struggling with hunger too much.

No it's absolutely fine.... Every now and then I could cry for food but I just go and do something to take my mind off it... It helps that I really like the shakes so do look forward to them, I have found this easier than sw and ww. The hardest bit is cooking dinner for my little boy and not being able to pinch a waffle!! Lol yeah I'm a size 16 too and desperate to get to a 12... I also miss tea so much so next week I am changing to the option of 4 products so I can have 200ml of milk so I can at least enjoy a cup of tea.
Good luck when you start tomorrow and I will post how I get on on Tuesday :-)

Well week 1 and I've lost 7lbs and 2 inches from my waist.

I know most of that is water and that this week will be the real test but I can actually feel a difference.

I haven't been anywhere near as hungry as I thought I would but I am missing fruit (although not chocolate surprisingly).

Hi all, can I join this thread? I started Cambridge last week but I really messed up the last 2 days, due to period and just because its half term!

I'm 5,9 and was 17.7 stones on weigh in with the counsellor. Which is 8 stones heavier then I was pre children! That's terrible. I've put my goal as 11 stones. This morning I was 17 stones so even after my 2 day binge I've lost half a stone.

I am sticking to it 100% from today onwards! I will not cheat! I've made a little chart which I tick off each meal and I'm exercising every day to make up for my binge session.

Hello BeOrganised!

Well done for getting back on track. :)

How are you finding exercise? I tried a walk the other day (albeit with double pushchair and a bit of shopping) and it made me so lightheaded. What sort of exercise are you doing?

I haven't cheated so far but yesterday was tough going. I just had zero energy and found I was drinking to much coffee to get through the day. I feel fine today though.

I've got a night out coming up which is going to be a massive test. Can I manage a night out without alcohol???

Hi ladies,
How are u all getting on now? I have started Cambridge diet this week and am on day 4.
I did lighter life about 5 yrs ago, was quite successful and was able to maintain after putting 1/2 stone back on for a while. but after having baby put loads back on.
Was quite pleased that my starting Cambridge weight is a little less than lighter life.
I'm loving the flavours! And like someone up thread said, look forward to them!
Hope ur all doing well, would love to hear how u are getting on now
