I havent just gone wild this Christmas, I have gone wild since November!!! I am now heavier than the days I gave birth.

So, it STOPS now! I am off to Centre Parcs with the kids in 8 weeks and I CANNOT expose the general public to my 'exploded sofa' body!

Going to aim to lose a stone in 8 weeks... please please will you support me and put up with my ramblings about wanting a takeaway and wine?

Have you seen BIWI's low carb threads? Have a dig around - follow the rules a d you'll lose a stone (and more) easily.

I'm back at WW next week, so have a week to get back to my Pre-Christmas weight to avoid the shame of a potential 6 pound gain in one week. Blush

I am so with you!
Have a milestone birthday in April (sob) and want 2 stone (or as near as possible) by then.
Logged back into MFP this morning after an evil weigh in. Have had porridge for breakfast, brought homemade butternut squash and lentil soup for lunch at work and chilli in slow cooker.
Going to the gym tonight.
I really want cheese and chocolate today though!

Runner Had to check I hadn't posted under your name. I'm a godmother in April and need to drop at least two stone by then. Like you I've gone my ends food and wine since November. I'm thinking about lowcarb and would love somewhere to celebrate, comissorate and lust after chocolate.

Another one wanting to shift two stone by April, it's my graduation ceremony then and I want to look nice. So I'm joining WW next week, I did it 11 years ago and it worked, then I got pg and never went back.

Lets do this fellow fat fighters...... I've done well so far today, but it is evenings that are a killer! Chicken and roast veg for dinner tonight, and am going to put some sugar free blackcurrant juice in a wine glass to try to fool myself/avoid temptation!

Good luck and keep posting Smile

I've just signed up to WW, pai for their monthly pass. My first meeting isn't until next Tuesday, so I've a few days to mentally prepare, and to get rid of/eat all the chocs and biscuits that are left over.

I did WW for a 'short' time 2 years ago, lost 8lb in the first week but couldn't cope with all of the weighing small portions and so switched to SW and then basically failed! I CANNOT fail this time, I am disgusted at myself!

Same here, I've really got to do it this time. I've been gaining and losing the same three pounds for two years, so enough is enough, WW has worked before, and I need the pressure of the meetings to keep me going.

Can I join you? Please?

I am going to low-carb it but BIWI's thread is just too big and busy to follow.
Am sort of doing a DIY, low carb/Dukan diet - I have had success before, but fell off the wagon for a year !?!

I have two and a half stone to lose...

Took first step today by taking all of the left over chocs and cakes into work Smile

Welcome!!!

WOW!!! I cannot compete with BIWI... that is serious diet planning!

I hope that this thread will be more a supportive /moan thread! I love moaning!

Gym done yesterday and food logged on MyFitnessPal, felt great last night. This morning I feel a bit sick!
Must be the detox then!!

Sandwich, I have packed DH off with the Festive goodies for his workmates Grin

Right, am going to be brave and post my weight...
13.8 yesterday Shock
13.6 this morning Grin

I know tis only water, but feels good to be going in the right direction.

I have found a great Dukan app - technology always keeps me motivatedSmile

Dukan says I should reach my target weight (11.3) by first week in January then an extra 4 months of consolidation. Have a wedding to go to next Saturday and would like to have lost 1/2 stone by then.

Feel really motivated - long may it last!

Hi, can I join too?
I started yesterday logging my food on MyFitnessPal.

I have gorged and feasted since November and am now fat (and to be honest deserve to be as I have stuffed my face a lot!!).

I have put on 2 stone in 2 years and the last stone since Setpember. Nothing fits now and I have no idea what I am going to wear when I start back to work on Monday. Not sure elasticated joggers are a good look for the office!! My face looks bloated and it is time to do something before I expand even further.

I made carrot soup, leek and potato soup (weight watchers) and butternut squash soup yesterday and plan to eat these for lunch and dinner for the first few days with special K for breakfast.

No more Domino's for a while (sob sob)

princessfifi9 - any chance you would switch Special K for porridge?
Special K is the work of the devil Wink

Report
princessfifi9 · 03/01/2013 10:40

Yes, I could do. That is a good idea, it would be more filling.
Special K does always leave me very hungry around 11am and then I go in search of biscuits... No biscuits today!!

Just noticed my deliberate mistake in my previous post - should reach target weight first week in April, not January

Wishful thinking on my part me thinks Grin

I am loaded with cold today, and just had a cup of tea with a Ginger Nut Slice... it wasn't even nice!! I am doomed! No more calories for me today Blush

Sandwich I was wondering! Was about to do the Dukan as well at that rate!

Princess, I have those Oats so Simple porridge pouch things, come in a box of 10 or so, so I have the right portion amount. MFP says 161 cals with skimmed milk, so not too dissimilar to Special K?

SandWitch · 03/01/2013 14:40

Hope you feel better soon Runnerlegs

I love porridge in the morning (although will try oat bran porridge as part of Dukan) Do the Oats so Simple pouches have loads of added sugar?

Lindt chocs are staring at me from the communal treat table; trying really, really hard to resist.

Hmmm - 13.5 today - can I confess to being slightly disappointed?
Madness I know.

Good luck today everyone Smile

Ah dont be disappointed Sand I only weigh myself once a week at the same time! Get off the scales and don't get back on them for a few days!

I have started off well again today with half a small tin of beans and some wholemeal dry toast!

Been sober for 3 days too and feeling so much better for it after being hungover all of Christmas!

Only snag is that we may be child free Saturday night and the temptation for a few sneaky drinks is going to be unbearable!

Happy healthy day one and all!

All this healthy eating has given me a bloody stinking cold!
Was at gym this morning at 8am, got home and just started sneezing, now I look like Rudolph and feel crappy.

Runner, I am not giving up booze totally (though not feeling like any today have to say), but yes, nice to have a clear head in the morning.

I did a sneaky weigh in too and have lost 2lbs since wednesday, not low carbing so slow and steady is fine for me.

Well done Lizzy, I am taking Runners advice and resisting the urge to weigh in until next Wednesday.

I think diet and exercise should come with a health warning Grin hope you are feeling better soon.

Dragged my snotty self to kettlecise this morning, seems I have sweated my cold out.
Been ultra virtuous and made wholemeal pasta tuna salad for some of this weeks lunches. Doing cod loins in parma ham for dinner. This may cause a riot as dh and ds1 hate fish.
How is day 1 cabbage??
How you doing sandwich? Do you enjoy low carbing?
